Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
Your guide picks you up early from Hanoi Old Quarter and drives out to Ninh Binh Province. You'll start at Bai Dinh, which holds the largest Buddhist temple complex in all of Vietnam. From there, you head to Trang An, a UNESCO site where you float through rivers on a wooden boat and then climb up Mua Caves for views across the valley. By late afternoon you're checking into your bungalow, and you'll have some free time to cycle around the village before heading to dinner.

- Day 2
Ninh Binh
Starting early from your hotel, you'll go to Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital. The 10th-century Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple give you a look at the histories of two important kings. After lunch at a local restaurant, you head to Tam Coc to ride a traditional sampan boat through three caves. Then you cycle through traditional villages before returning to your bungalow for dinner and the night.

- Day 3
Ninh Binh to Halong Bay
Morning pickup from your Ninh Binh bungalow takes you to Halong Bay. You board a 5-star cruise early in the afternoon with a welcome drink and safety briefing. The cruise departs while you enjoy lunch and pass through limestone karsts. You explore Bo Nau Cave and Sung Sot Cave, then spend time at Titop Island with swimming and climbing. Back on board, there's a sunset party with drink specials, a cooking class, and fusion dinner, plus evening activities like squid fishing or movies.

- Day 4
Halong Bay
You start before sunrise with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, then have a light breakfast. A transfer boat takes you to explore Me Cung Cave with its limestone formations. You head to Tung Sau Area for kayaking and a pearl farming visit. Traditional Vietnamese lunch comes next, then a tea break to learn about Vietnamese tea. The afternoon is yours to relax in the jacuzzi, sunbathe, or get a spa treatment. Another sunset with drink specials, a second cooking class, fusion dinner, and evening entertainment finish the day.

- Day 5
Halong Bay to Hanoi
A final Tai Chi session happens on the sundeck as the cruise heads toward Luon Cave. After light breakfast, you explore Luon Cave, known for its endemic vegetation. You can choose between kayaking or a traditional bamboo boat ride through it. Back on the cruise, you pack up and enjoy a brunch buffet while sailing back to port. You disembark at Halong International Harbour and take a bus back to Hanoi Old Quarter, wrapping up your tour by mid-afternoon.
