Bucharest
You'll arrive in Bucharest and get picked up at the airport with a Travel Talk sign, then head to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to wander around the city however you like. Later on, you'll meet up with your group for a welcome gathering where you'll learn what's coming up over the next few days.

Bucharest
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you through Bucharest's main spots like the Palace of Parliament and National Village Museum. In the afternoon, you'll head over to the Christmas markets in Old Town to try some local food and drinks, plus pick up some souvenirs.

Cozia - Sibiu
Starting in the morning, you'll travel to Cozia Monastery to explore this ancient Orthodox site. From there, you head to Sibiu and walk through the charming Old Town with your guide, checking out the well-known Christmas market. The festive setup gives you plenty of chances to taste local food and drinks.

Sibiu

Sighisoara - Brasov
You'll head to Sighisoara, the medieval city where Vlad the Impaler was born, and take a walking tour that includes the Clock Tower Museum. After lunch at a local spot, you travel to Brasov for a city tour, then check out the Christmas market in the evening.

Brasov
This morning you'll visit Bran Castle, also called Dracula's Castle, and learn about the history and stories tied to it. Back in Brasov by afternoon, you'll have free time to walk around the city or do some Christmas shopping on your own.

Sinaia - Bucharest
You travel to Sinaia to see Peles Castle, a nice Neo-Renaissance palace from the late 1800s. After touring the castle, you head back to Bucharest for some final Christmas market shopping and looking around the city.

Bucharest to Munich
Time to leave Romania and fly to Munich, Germany's third-largest city. Once you arrive, you'll have free time to check out famous spots like Marienplatz, the Viktualienmarkt, and the Englischer Garten.

Munich
You'll start at the Frauenkirche, Munich's well-known cathedral, for an orientation walk. Then you explore the city's Christmas markets including the Christkindlmarkt in Marienplatz and the medieval market at Wittelsbacher Platz. Grab a traditional Bavarian lunch and wander through the markets at your own pace. Later, you'll walk through Schwabing and try some local food and drinks.

Munich to Salzburg
You head southeast into Austria to Salzburg today. After checking in, your leader takes you on an orientation walk. Late afternoon brings you to the Christmas market in Cathedral Square with its smells of gluehwein, roasted chestnuts, toasted almonds, and cinnamon baked apples, plus traditional Salzburg choirs performing. Later, a cable car ride takes you to Hohensalzburg Fortress, where there's a small Christmas market and sometimes live music with holiday themes.

Salzburg
This day is free for you to explore Salzburg and the surrounding areas. You could visit the salt mine in Berchtesgaden in the German Alps, or check out Sound of Music filming spots like Mirabell Gardens, Pegasus Fountain, Leopoldskron Palace, and Hellbrunn Palace. By evening, you can head back to the Christmas markets to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Vienna
You'll arrive in Vienna and meet up with a guide for a walking tour through the city's historic architecture, parks, and monuments honoring famous composers and notable figures from history. The afternoon leaves time for browsing the Christmas markets set up in front of City Hall, where you can grab freshly baked cinnamon biscuits and try some warming Christmas punch. If you want to do more, there are several options: Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace, and the Leopold Museum are all worth your time, or head up on the Prater Ferris Wheel if you'd prefer to see the city from above.
