Lille
You'll meet up with the group in Lille and settle in for a welcome dinner. This is your chance to get to know the other travelers before the tour officially begins, so it's a relaxed evening to chat and prepare for what's ahead.

Lille to Ypres
Head to Ypres by way of Messines Ridge, stopping at several key WWI sites along the way. You'll walk through Passchendaele battlefields, Polygon Wood, and see Tyne Cot Military Cemetery, Hill 60, and the Hooge Crater Museum. After arriving in Ypres, you have the rest of the evening free to explore or rest.

Ypres
Start your morning at the In Flanders Fields Museum to get context on the area's history. Afterward, wander through medieval Ypres on your own schedule. In the evening, head to the Menin Gate for the Last Post ceremony, a daily ritual that's been running for almost 100 years now.

Ypres to Amiens
Cross over into France to check out Fromelles and the site of the July 1916 attack, including Pheasant Wood Cemetery. Then explore Wellington Quarries, the tunnel network built by the New Zealand Tunnelling Company, and the Digger Memorial at Bullecourt. You'll drive to Amiens afterward and have free time to explore the city.

Villers-Bretonneux
Attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux early this morning. You'll stand alongside people from Australia and New Zealand and local residents to honor over 2,100 WWI servicemen buried here, including more than 770 Australians who fell at the 1918 battle.

The Somme
Spend the day exploring the Somme region where ANZACs first faced heavy action in 1916. You'll visit Pozières and Mouquet Farm for Australian sites, then move to Longueval and Flers for New Zealand locations. Stop at the Thiepval Memorial to see the names of British soldiers missing in action. Return to Amiens for a final group dinner together.
