The guides and drivers were excellent and the hotels lovely (some amazing breakfasts!); everything worked on time and to schedule, including internal flights and pick ups. The only thing I'd change (but it might not be possible) would be the long, winding and bumpy drive from Luang Prabang to the Plain of Jars (a recommendation to take motion sickness precautions would have been useful too!)
