The guide was already fed up after midday and kept asking me what else I wanted to see. If I knew that, I wouldn't need a guide but a cab. The tour ended at 15:00. However, the morning with the trip out into the countryside was quite good. After checking out of the hotel, I wasted my time in cafés until I took a cab to the night bus - because you should organize that yourself. After that it got better and the really packed days (which is what I wanted) were well organized and the excursions were not of the cheapest category but really good. The guide in Ninh Binh and Halong was spectacularly good. The hotel in Hanoi was ok. I just don't understand why it has to be right by the night market. If you come back from an activity at night you have to walk there because it's closed to buses. The communication was also not so good. Everything was handled relatively monosyllabically without "hello", "did you enjoy it" or "sorry for the disorganized day 1". I was really impressed with the motorbike trip to the outside of Hanoi. This is a really wonderful experience. The scenery in Sapa and Ha Long Bay is truly breathtaking and exquisite. Also if we upgrade to 4 * - pls show sample hotel & price difference. dates are arrive early 6/7 & depart early11/7 - so 5 nights & 5 days. How many nights accommodation does this package include? Does the package include all entrance fees? What is you booking / cancellation policy? is there a minimum type of travel insurance that international travellers need?
Conical TravelOperator•Written May 2023If you have 5 people together, we will upgrade to 4* accommodations for you for free with the same price USD 485 / person. 4* accommodations include: Hanoi: Tirant Hotel (Family Executive Room) - 3 nights, Halong Bay: Signature Cruise (Family Balcony - 2nd floor) - 1 night. From age 12 is regarded as adult. If you have 5 nights, it must cost an extra of USD 180 totally for one extra night at 4* hotel in Hanoi. The package includes all entrance fees with the activities noted in the itinerary; English speaking guide, transportations including all airport transfers; some meals. About cancellation policy: if you cancel 10 days prior to departure date, with force majeure, you don't need to pay anything. About travel insurance, it is not compulsory. However, you should buy travel insurance to protect your family.
