Itinerary
- Day 1
Seoul
You'll meet your Adventure Leader for a briefing when you arrive in Seoul. Then you'll take a taekwondo class to learn some basic moves and techniques before heading back to your hotel to rest. Later this evening, the Namsan Cable Car takes you up to the Tower Observatory where you can see the Seoul skyline at night (75°F/24°C).

- Day 2
Seoul
The day starts at 10am with the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at Gyeongbok Palace. You have the option to rent hanok, traditional Korean clothing, if you'd like to wear it while exploring the palace grounds. After that, head to Bukchon Hanok Village for lunch and walk through the traditional Korean houses and streets there. Insadong comes next, where you can browse antique shops, tea houses, and handcraft shops. By evening you'll be at the Nanta show, a non-verbal comedy featuring music and four chefs preparing a wedding banquet. After the show, explore Myeongdong by night.

- Day 3
Seoul
You have the full day to explore Seoul however you'd like, and your Adventure Leader can offer suggestions if you need them. Several museums are worth checking out: the National Museum of Korea, Seoul Museum of Art, or Leeum Samsung Museum of Art. Parks like Namsan Park, Yeouido Park, or Olympic Park are nice options too if you want to walk around and relax. If you're interested in a day trip, consider heading to Nami Island, known for its scenic beauty and Korean drama filming locations, or Lotte World amusement park with rides, attractions, and a folk museum.

- Day 4
Seoul to Jeonju
You'll travel to Jeonju by high-speed KTX train, arriving late morning. After dropping off your luggage at Hanok Village, you'll participate in a bibimbap cooking class where you'll learn to make this traditional Korean dish of mixed rice with sautéed vegetables, kimchi, meat, and egg. From there, explore the streets of Jeonju's Hanok Village and check out stores, snacks, and cafes. Check into your traditional hanok accommodation for the night and spend the evening exploring at your own pace.

- Day 5
Jeonju to Gyeongju
An express bus takes you to Gyeongju, and after you drop off luggage at your hotel, a walking tour shows you the city centre and the area's rich history. You'll visit the Chunmachong Ancient Tombs, Daerungwon Tumuli Park, and Cheomseongdae, the oldest existing astronomical observatory in East Asia. A 300-year-old hanok is next for traditional tea tasting. Evening brings a traditional Korean meal, then head to Donggung Palace to see the night views of Anapji Pond before returning to your hotel.

- Day 6
Gyeongju to Golgulsa Temple
Spend the morning in Gyeongju at your own pace. Your guide can offer tips, especially if you're interested in visiting UNESCO Bulguksa Temple or Woljeonggyo Bridge. Early afternoon, a private shuttle bus takes you to Golgulsa Temple for your accommodation. You'll follow the temple's schedule for the day: orientation with etiquette tips, a meditation session, communal work, and sunmudo training, a unique Korean martial art combining meditation and movement. Enjoy a traditional vegetarian Buddhist dinner before settling in for the night.

Golgulsa Temple to Busan
Wake early for morning meditation and Buddhist chanting at Golgulsa Temple, then have a final traditional Buddhist breakfast. The KTX train takes you to Busan, and after you arrive, head to Gamcheon Village with free time to explore this cultural area and grab lunch. This afternoon, the marine cable car at Songdo Beach gives you great views. Visit Jagalchi Fish Market and trendy BIFF Square for shopping and local food like Busan-style hotteok. Transfer to your hotel with a free evening to relax and explore Busan on your own.

Busan
Your last day includes a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of Korea's beautiful temples right along the coastline with nice views. Afterward, relax on Gwangalli Beach with plenty of beachside restaurants and cafes nearby. A leisurely sightseeing boat tour shows you Busan's coast and skyline. You'll have a final free evening to explore the city streets, try Korean food, shop for souvenirs, or ask your guide for recommendations.

- Day 9
Busan to Seoul
