Tashkent
You'll land in Tashkent and get through customs, then head to your hotel to settle in for the night.

Tashkent to Samarkand
After breakfast, catch a train to Samarkand (about 2 hours). Once you arrive, start with Gur Emir mausoleum and walk through Registan Square, then check out artisans working at Hunarmand center. In the afternoon, visit Bibi-Khanya mosque, browse the Silk Road bazaar, and see the Shahi Zinda necropolis.

- Day 3
Samarkand to Bukhara
Head to the railway station after breakfast for a train to Bukhara (roughly 1.5 hours). When you get there, start exploring the city's historic sites including Lab-i-khauz ensemble with its traditional pool and teahouse, several madrassahs and mosques, the Ark Fortress, and the Ismail Samanid mausoleum.

- Day 4
Bukhara
Travel outside the city to see Sitora-i-Mokhikhosa, which was the emir's summer place. Then stop at the Bahauddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum to pay respects to a 14th-century Sufi leader. Back in Bukhara, spend time at Hunarmand workshops where you can watch craftspeople doing block printing, metalwork, embroidery, carving, and miniature painting.

Bukhara to Khiva
Drive through the Kizil Kum desert toward Khiva in the morning. You'll see the landscape with saksaul trees and desert plants, watch for local wildlife, and stop at the Amudarya river before continuing on.

Khiva to Tashkent
Check out Khiva's ancient sites including the Kalta Minor tower, Kunya Ark fortress, Madrassah Rakhimkhon, and the Pakhlavan Makhmud mausoleum. See the mosque and Tashauli Palace (harem), then head to Urgench Airport for your flight back to Tashkent. Get transferred to your hotel when you land.

Tashkent
After breakfast, walk through Tashkent's old town, visiting Barak Khana Seminary and Tila Shaikh mosque where you can see a rare Koran copy written by Caliph Othman. Then browse Chorsu bazaar, check out Kukeldash Madrassah and the Museum of Applied Arts, see Independence Square, and take the famous Tashkent Metro tour. The day finishes at Amir Temur Square.
