Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and settle into your four-star hotel near Termini station. The afternoon is yours to spend however you'd like, wandering the streets or resting after travel. Later in the evening, you'll meet up with the group for a welcome briefing, then head out for a traditional Roman dinner at a nearby trattoria.

- Day 2
Rome to Umbria
After breakfast, a certified guide takes you on a 3-hour walking tour hitting Rome's major sights like the Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Piazza di Spagna. You'll have free time for lunch, then transfer to Abbazia Collemedio resort in the Umbrian countryside where you're welcomed with sparkling wine and appetizers.

Umbria
A guided walk starts from the medieval town of Bevagna and leads you through Umbrian countryside to Montefalco, a hilltop town surrounded by vineyards known for rosso di Montefalco and sagrantino wines. You'll stop along the route for a picnic lunch. Later, you visit Cantina Baldassarri vineyard and olive oil mill for tastings of wines, olive oil, and local foods like charcuterie, bruschetta, and cheeses.

Umbria
This morning you'll walk the hills around the resort and head to the hilltop village of Collazzone before heading back. Then comes a hands-on cooking class with a local chef where you'll make fresh pasta, tiramisu, and flan. The afternoon is free to relax by the pool. Later, you head to medieval Todi to catch the sunset, and your leader can point you toward dinner restaurants.

Assisi
You'll transfer to Assisi, a UNESCO-listed hilltop town and birthplace of Saint Francis, one of Italy's most important pilgrimage destinations. You explore on your own, with recommendations to see the 13th-century Basilica di San Francesco with its Giotto frescoes, the pink-and-white Basilica of Santa Chiara, the Temple of Minerva, and the 12th-century Rocca Maggiore fortress.

You'll head to Perugia, Umbria's university capital and a place famous worldwide for chocolate. You'll taste chocolate samples and walk around the city, then join a guided tour of landmarks including Piazza IV Novembre and Rocca Paolina. That medieval fortress was built for Pope Paul III and features underground tunnels and chambers worth exploring.

Spello
A circular walk starts from Spello, a medieval town known for its cobbled streets and flower displays. You'll navigate ancient alleys with your guide, then walk a section of the Path of Olives passing a Roman aqueduct and ancient abbeys to reach Collepino on Mount Subasio. The walk ends at a craft beer factory where you'll sample their beers.

Departure
