Itinerary
- Day 1
Seoul to Gongju to Jeonju
Pick up starts at 8:00 AM from Amid Hotel Seoul, then head south to Gongju. You'll spend your morning at Gongsanseong Fortress, a UNESCO site with significant historical importance. From there, check out the Tomb of King Muryeong and the Gongju National Museum, where you can see over 10,000 cultural artifacts including pieces designated as National Treasures. After exploring these sites, it's a couple hours to Jeonju where you'll stay the night.

Baegyangsa Temple - Gwangju
This morning in Jeonju, walk through Hanok Village which has more than 800 traditional Korean houses still standing. You'll have the option to wear a Hanbok, the traditional Korean costume, which works great for photos around the village. Next, head to Gyeonggijeon Shrine built back in 1410. After lunch, travel to Baegyangsan National Park to see Baegyangsa Temple surrounded by mountain and valley scenery. The temple usually arranges a tea conversation with a monk, so you'll get to talk and have some quiet time. Later, drive to Gwangju and stop at Sajik Park Observation Tower for views of the city, then walk around the historic Sajikdan altar before settling in for the night.

Suncheonman Bay - Busan
Begin the day at Boseong Green Tea Plantation, which produces high-quality tea for Korea. You'll get to try their green tea ice cream, which is a local specialty. After grabbing lunch, head to Suncheonman Bay, a wetland area along the coast known for its reed fields stretching across the landscape. This spot is important for migratory birds and was designated as Korea's first Ramsar Wetland back in 2006. From there, it's a drive to Busan for your final night.

Seoul
Visit the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan this morning, which is the only UN cemetery in the world dedicated to honoring those who died under UN Command during the Korean War. The 14-hectare grounds hold 2,300 graves organized by each country represented. After lunch, your tour ends with your choice of transport back to Seoul. If there are 9 participants or fewer, you'll take the KTX train. For groups of 10 or more, transportation by vehicle returns to Amid Hotel Seoul.
