Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
You'll arrive at Windhoek airport and sort out your rental car paperwork. Spend the afternoon getting settled and resting at your accommodation. Later in the evening, head into town and grab dinner at a local restaurant to start getting a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Windhoek to Keetmanshoop
Your hotel pickup happens between 7am and 8am, with departure at 9am. You'll travel through the Kalahari Desert and stop in Rehoboth to learn about the Baster people and their history. After continuing south through the desert landscape, you'll reach Keetmanshoop in the afternoon to rest and get settled.

Fish River Canyon
Drive to Fish River Canyon, which ranks as the second largest canyon globally. Along the way, you'll check out the Mesosaurus Fossil Site and see rare Quiver trees dotting the landscape. Spend your time exploring the canyon's impressive terrain and taking photos throughout the day.

Fish River Canyon to Lüderitz
There's an optional early morning trip to the main viewpoint if you want canyon photos and views. Then you'll drive to Lüderitz, a coastal town featuring German colonial buildings from its past. The route passes through small desert towns where you might spot desert horses. You'll arrive in the late afternoon.

Lüderitz to Aus
After breakfast, you can do optional boat cruises at your own cost if you're interested. Next, head to Diaz Point to see birds and seals hanging around. From there, check out Kolmanskop, a ghost town left over from the 1920s diamond rush and now reclaimed by the desert. Late afternoon you'll head to Aus in the mountains.

Aus to Sossusvlei
Following breakfast, you'll travel to Sossusvlei on dusty roads through rural communities. You'll arrive at the lodge in the afternoon. This region gets extremely hot, so cooling off by the pool and resting well makes sense, especially since you'll need to wake up early tomorrow.

Sossusvlei
Start very early to visit Sesriem Gate and see the remarkable Sossusvlei. You'll climb Dune 45, then take an off-road drive to Dead Vlei with its ancient, dried acacia trees scattered across the pan. If you're up for it, you can climb 'Big Daddy' or 'Big Mama' dunes. Return for lunch, rest during the hottest part of the day, then visit Sesriem Canyon as the sun starts to set.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
You'll journey from desert to sea today, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and driving through the spectacular Gaub and Kuiseb passes. Stop in Walvis Bay to see flamingos and birds in the lagoons. After your lunch break, continue on to Swakopmund on the coast for the evening.

Swakopmund
Explore Swakopmund at your own pace this day. Lots of optional activities are available at your own cost, including quad-biking, sand-boarding, scenic flights over the Skeleton Coast, and guided township tours. If those don't appeal, you can visit the aquarium, museums, and crystal gallery instead.

Swakopmund to Twyfelfontein
Leave Swakopmund and head to Cape Cross to visit the Cape Fur Seal colony and watch them on the rocks. Then turn east into the Brandberg Damaraland desert, one of Namibia's most remarkable regions. You'll see wildlife including elephants, giraffes, ostriches, and antelopes roaming around. Optional activities can happen today or tomorrow morning.

Twyfelfontein to Etosha National Park
Depart the lodge and drive to Etosha National Park, passing through small villages along the way. You'll arrive in the afternoon and do a game drive through parts of the park. Reach your accommodation just before sunset so you can rest up for tomorrow's full day of exploring.

Etosha National Park
An early morning wake-up gets you out to experience nature and fresh air. After breakfast, you'll start your game drive exploring the park and visiting waterholes. Look for the Etosha pan and search for the Big Four and other animal species. You'll have a light lunch, rest during midday heat, visit one more waterhole, and return before sunset.

Etosha National Park to Grootfontein
Visit Bushmen land and see the Hoba Meteor, the largest known intact meteorite on Earth's surface. Learn about the San people, their culture, traditions, and way of life. You'll also see traditional cultural dances performed by the community.

Grootfontein to Ndivindu
After breakfast, head to Mahango Game Park, situated at Namibia's eastern border with Botswana in the flood plains of the Okavango River basin near Popa Falls. You'll spot wildlife including baobab trees, elephants, buffalos, sable and roan antelope, bushbucks, and reedbuck.

Ndivindu to Okavango Delta
Cross the border into Botswana and head toward the Okavango Delta, a vast inland river delta with sprawling grassy plains that flood seasonally. You'll drive through small villages and towns across open Botswana landscape with roaming animals. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the afternoon to relax.

Okavango Delta
Spend most of the day on a mokoro, a traditional canoe, in the Okavango Delta. These flat-bottomed boats are propelled by standing in the stern and pushing with a pole, similar to punting. You'll explore the shallow waters and see wildlife up close using this traditional method of travel.

Okavango Delta to Namushasha River
Leave Botswana and return to Namibia. Drive back to Mahango Game Reserve for another chance at spotting wild animals. Continue along the Caprivi Strip through small villages, interacting with local people to learn about their culture and heritage.

Namushasha River to Chobe River

Chobe National Park is home to the world's largest population of African elephants. Look for hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife during your cruise.

Chobe National Park

Victoria Falls
Arrive at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the largest waterfall on the Zambezi River. After checking in, go see the Mighty Victoria Falls.
