- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll arrive at Noi Bai Airport where your driver meets you in the lobby. The transfer to your hotel takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, and you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and rest whenever you're ready.

Hanoi City Tour
This morning starts with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda, then you'll head to the Temple of Literature with its peaceful courtyards. After that, the Museum of Ethnology gives good insight into Vietnam's different ethnic groups. Later you'll wander the Old Quarter's tight alleyways with their narrow shop fronts and street food vendors. By evening, grab dinner before the water puppet performance, a traditional art form where puppets move across water.

Halong Bay Cruise
You'll drive about 2 to 3 hours southeast to Halong Bay, arriving at the jetty around noon. Board your cruise and have lunch while you take in the limestone formations rising from the water. The afternoon gives you time to swim and kayak around the bay. As the sun sets, you'll anchor for the night with views across the water.

Halong Bay Exploration
Early morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck gets your day started, followed by light breakfast. Transfer to a smaller boat that takes you to local island villages where you can see how residents live. Later you'll reach a quieter beach with white sand and fewer tourists than the main spots. Time for swimming and kayaking before heading back to the cruise for dinner.

Halong Bay to Hoi An
Start with Tai Chi and breakfast on the sundeck again. You'll visit a cave with stalactites hanging from the ceiling and formations on the cave floor. After checking out, enjoy brunch while the boat heads back to the harbor. In the afternoon, you'll fly to Da Nang and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An, arriving by early evening.

When evening comes, walk through the Old Town to see the lanterns lighting up the streets and catch any local performances happening.

This morning tour runs from 8:30 until 1 in the afternoon. You'll walk through coconut forests, check out local markets, and learn how Vietnamese food is traditionally prepared. Then head to Eco-Village Cam Thanh where you'll take a bamboo basket boat through the nipa palm forests. The experience includes learning to fish with nets and cooking five Vietnamese dishes yourself using ingredients from the area.

After browsing Hoi An Market, you'll have lunch and free time to explore the town on your own.
