Harare
A representative meets you at Harare International Airport and drives you into the capital, where you'll notice the clean streets and friendly vibe right away. Before heading to your hotel, there are stops at the botanical garden and the balancing rocks to get a feel for the area. Dinner is included once you settle in.

Harare to Nyanga
After an early breakfast, you'll drive through farmland and rocky terrain heading east toward the highlands, an area locals call 'The Little England' because of its cooler climate and green landscapes. You arrive at Troutbeck Resort where you can unwind and take in the mountain views. Over the next couple days, there's time to check out Nyanga National Park, visit the Rainbow Trout hatchery, or try optional activities like horse riding or fishing. On day 3, you can head to Mtarazi Falls where options include a Skywalk, hiking Mt Nyanga, or trying the Zipline.

Nyanga to Masvingo
You start with breakfast and then travel to Masvingo to explore the Ruins of Great Zimbabwe, built around 1200 AD and considered the largest ancient monument south of the Sahara. A guide takes you through the Acropolis, the Great Enclosure, and the Conical Tower so you understand the scale and history of the site. Meals are covered throughout the day.

Great Zimbabwe to Matobo
Leaving Matobo Hills, you drive through Bulawayo, which has wide tree-lined streets and Victorian buildings that give it a distinctive character. From there, you head into Matobo National Park where the full day involves exploring cave paintings, stopping at viewpoints called 'View of the World', and watching for black rhino and other wildlife. The park is particularly known for having lots of birds of prey, so you'll likely spot several. Optional rhino viewing and sunset game drives are available if you want more time in the park.

Matobo to Hwange National Park
After breakfast you head for Hwange National Park in an open vehicle, which lets you start seeing wildlife right away. Lunch is at your lodge overlooking the plains, then you go out for an afternoon game drive. The evening brings dinner with the sounds of Africa around you. The next morning starts before dawn with a game drive to catch animals when they're most active, followed by lunch and downtime. An evening game drive lets you spot creatures that come out after dark.

- Days 9 - 11
Hwange to Victoria Falls
Before sunrise you get tea and coffee, then transfer toward Victoria Falls. The first stop is the Painted Dog Conservation Center where you learn about the wild dogs living in the area and conservation work being done. Later you reach Victoria Falls town and take an afternoon sunset cruise. Day 10 takes you to see Victoria Falls itself with stops at different viewpoints, walks through the forest, and views of rainbows and the water. Afternoons are free for optional activities. On day 11, your final day, you can explore more of the Falls or simply relax before departure.
