Arrival in Prague
You'll be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel in Prague's historic center. This evening, there's a Welcome Reception where you'll meet other travelers and your Tour Director.

Prague
Start exploring Prague with a guided tour through the Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cross the Vltava River to reach Prague Castle, a massive complex that goes back to the 9th century. You'll walk across Charles Bridge and then have time to check out the Old Market Square on your own.

Prague
You have the day to yourself in Prague. Consider visiting the Jewish Quarter if history interests you, or grab photos of the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square. Terezín is another option if you want to take a trip out. By evening, there's an optional traditional Czech Folklore Dinner and show.

Prague to Budapest
After breakfast, you'll board a coach heading to Budapest where your river ship is waiting. Once on board, there's a Captain's Welcome Reception in the evening to meet your fellow passengers.

Budapest
You'll wake to views of Budapest along the Danube. After disembarking, a local guide takes you through the city's highlights including Fisherman's Bastion, Heroes' Square, and Buda Castle. Back on the ship that evening, you'll have dinner while cruising.

Vienna
The ship reaches Vienna today. You'll take a drive along the Ringstrasse to see important buildings, then go on a walking tour of the city center. You'll see St Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben, and Hofburg Palace. That evening, there's an optional concert with Mozart and 'The Sound of Music' music.

Vienna is yours to explore however you'd like. Wander around the Hofburg area or head to Karntnerstrasse for shopping. If you want something organized, there are optional excursions to Schönbrunn Palace or a trip to Bratislava.

Melk
The ship cruises to Durnstein, where you can walk past old townhouses and taverns with castle ruins on the hill above (this is where King Richard the Lionheart was held). You'll continue through the Wachau Valley to Melk and tour Melk Abbey, which has been a working Benedictine monastery since 1089. There's also an optional bike ride from Durnstein to Melk if that interests you.

In Rüdesheim, you'll board a mini-train called the Winzerexpress to visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. When you're back on the ship, you'll see the Rhine Gorge, which is really something to watch.
