Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive at Madrid airport and head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace around the city. Later in the evening, a transfer takes you to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, where you can grab dinner at any of the tapas restaurants in Madrid's popular nightlife area.

Madrid
This morning includes a guided tour through central Madrid hitting Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. After that you'll head to Retiro Park to see the lake and Glass Palace. The afternoon brings a tour of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. You have free time before heading back to the hotel for the evening.

Madrid to Barcelona
You'll leave Madrid early and travel through Castile toward Aragón. There's a brief stop in Zaragoza to see the Pilar Basilica, then you continue to the Monastery of Poblet, one of the world's best-preserved medieval monasteries with its protective walls still intact. By evening you'll arrive in Barcelona.

Barcelona
The morning brings a guided city tour of Barcelona focusing on Gaudí's modernist architecture, the Ramblas, and the city's history with the Universal Exhibitions and Olympics. You'll have the afternoon free to wander around on your own. In the evening, head to Maremagnum where you can stroll around and have dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants.

Barcelona to Valencia
You'll travel south along the Mediterranean coast with a stop in Peñíscola, a small medieval walled city surrounded by nice beaches where you can take a walk. Later you'll continue to Valencia, arriving around lunch time. The afternoon includes a guided exploration of this historic port city, checking out monuments spanning 2,000 years alongside modern architecture like the City of Arts and Sciences.

Valencia to Granada
Starting in Alicante, you'll walk through this charming coastal city before lunch. After eating, you head to the Murcia region and visit Caravaca de la Cruz, one of five holy cities recognized by the Catholic Church with a relic of Christ's Cross. A train ride takes you to the upper town to explore the historic area. From there you continue through scenic roads into Andalusia, arriving in Granada by evening.

Granada
You'll spend the full day in Granada. If your tour includes entrance fees, you can visit the Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife gardens from the Arab era. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city, and there's an option to visit the cathedral that holds the tomb of the Catholic Monarchs.

Granada to Seville
Leaving Granada heading toward the Costa del Sol, you'll arrive in Málaga with time to walk through the historic center and see the cathedral and Picasso Museum. You'll continue along the coastal highway with Mediterranean views, stopping at Puerto Banús in Marbella, an upscale recreational port. Then it's through the mountains to Ronda, a beautiful white town split by a dramatic gorge, before reaching Seville in the evening.

Seville

Seville to Lisbon
You'll leave Seville traveling through soft mountains and pasture lands toward Extremadura. A stop in Mérida lets you explore the excellent Roman Theatre and Amphitheater, a World Heritage Site, and walk through the pleasant pedestrian historic center for lunch. Then you continue to Portugal with a stop in Évora, another World Heritage Site with white streets, Renaissance palaces, and a historic cathedral, before arriving in Lisbon for the evening.

The morning city tour covers Lisbon, Portugal's capital built on 7 hills, with its alleys, traditional tiles, and Atlantic light. You'll visit the Belém neighborhood, where Portuguese navigators departed in the 15th century. The afternoon is free for you to walk and explore the Bairro Alto neighborhood and its viewpoint. You'll return from Restauradores Square in the evening, an atmospheric area filled with bars and cafes.
