Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with an introductory briefing to get oriented, then you'll head into Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. The park's got plenty of elephants moving through in family groups, and you can't miss the distinctive baobab trees dotting the landscape. Keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs, and leopards if you're fortunate, along with wildebeest and giraffe scattered throughout. By evening you'll settle into your lodge for the night.

Serengeti National Park
A guided game drive takes you through the Serengeti, one of Africa's most significant parks. You'll witness leopards and cheetahs on the hunt, elephants feeding near your vehicle, and if conditions are right, hear lions roaring across the plains. The sheer scale hits you as massive herds of buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest flow across the landscape like moving rivers. Your guide helps spot the big cats and elephants, pointing out countless other wildlife across this iconic safari terrain.

Serengeti National Park
You've got a full day in the Serengeti to relax and take in the Great Wildebeest Migration. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope dominate the park, while lions and cheetahs hunt among the scattered kopjes. The terrain shifts as you move through different sections, from open grass plains in the south to savanna with acacia trees in the center, then hilly wooded grassland to the north and extensive woodland heading west.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
This morning starts with a game drive heading toward Ngorongoro Crater. Once you descend into this massive crater (600m deep, 16km across), you're looking at roughly 20,000 large animals living on the crater floor, including some of Tanzania's last black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, eland, zebra, and gazelle. Stop by Makat Soda Lake to spot flamingos and other birds. By afternoon you'll drive to your lodge to settle in for the evening.

- Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park
Morning drive takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled against the steep Rift Valley escarpment. The park combines evergreen groundwater forest, acacia woodland, grassy plains, and a swampy fan delta alongside the lake, creating habitat for buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and elephants. You'll also spot blue monkeys, velvet monkeys, and olive baboons roaming around. There's a good chance of seeing the park's rare tree-climbing lions throughout your day here.
