- Day 1
Port Elizabeth to Knysna
Your journey starts in Port Elizabeth and heads toward Knysna with several stops along the way. First up is Tsitsikamma National Park, where you'll see the Bloukrans Bridge and get a sense of the dramatic coastline. Then it's on to Birds of Eden aviary and Monkeyland primate sanctuary, both great spots if you want to see local wildlife. By evening you'll arrive in Knysna, a coastal town with a solid reputation for local artists and craftspeople selling their work around town.

- Day 2
Knysna to Oudtshoorn
This morning you've got free time in Knysna to do whatever appeals to you. Later you'll travel through George and Wilderness National Park, passing through the Outeniqua Mountains on your way to Oudtshoorn. Before dinner, you'll stop at Cango Wildlife Ranch to check out what they have there. It's a scenic drive with some nice views as you move inland from the coast.

Oudtshoorn to Mossel Bay
Today focuses on Oudtshoorn's history and natural features. You'll visit sites connected to the ostrich industry boom from the 1860s and spend time at a working ostrich farm where you can learn how these birds are raised and used. After that comes a guided tour through Cango Caves, which has some really impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations underground. Later that day you head to Mossel Bay, moving closer to the coast again.

Landmarks Cango Caves - Day 4
Mossel Bay to Cape Town
An early start takes you to the Post Office Tree in Mossel Bay, a historical spot where Portuguese explorer Bartholomew Dias is believed to have stopped in 1488. From there you continue along the coast to Hermanus, which is known for land-based whale watching, particularly during the season when Humpback and Southern Right whales pass through. Depending on timing, you might see whales from shore. The tour finishes when you reach Cape Town later in the day.
