Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and head to your hotel for check-in at 2:00 PM. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to get settled, grab a bite whenever you're hungry, and take a walk around the neighborhood if you feel like it. It's a good time to get your bearings and adjust to the city.



- Day 2
Hanoi
Start your morning in Hanoi by checking out Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his former home, then head over to the Temple of Literature to see one of Vietnam's oldest educational institutions. The One Pillar Pagoda is next, and it's worth the short trip to see this unique structure. After grabbing lunch somewhere in the old quarter, take a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets and alleyways around Hoan Kiem Lake to get a real feel for how locals move through this part of the city. Before dinner, swing by Ngoc Son Temple sitting on a small island in the lake. Cap off the evening with a water puppet theater performance, a traditional art form that's been around for centuries.

- Day 3
Hanoi to Halong Bay
Head out early for the drive to Halong Bay, traveling through the Red River Delta's rice fields on the new highway. Once you arrive, board a traditional junk boat and spend the day cruising through the waters with limestone karsts rising up around you. Lunch and dinner both feature fresh seafood caught locally, and you'll have time to relax on deck between meals. By evening you'll settle in for the night on the boat, falling asleep to the sound of water and the sight of the islands silhouetted against the sky.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hue
Finish up your morning cruise through Halong Bay after breakfast on board, visiting more of the UNESCO World Heritage Site until around midday. Disembark and head back toward Hanoi, then catch a flight to Hue in central Vietnam. Your tour guide meets you at the airport and takes you directly to your hotel, giving you time to settle in and freshen up after traveling.

- Day 5
Hue to Hoi An
Take a boat out on the Huong River early in the day to reach Thien Mu Pagoda, Vietnam's tallest pagoda with its striking Phuock Duyen Tower rising up from the landscape. Back in the imperial city, walk through the legendary Imperial Palace and explore the walled grounds where emperors once ruled. Grab lunch at one of the local spots, then check out Trang Tien Bridge and the busy Dong Ba Market to see how locals shop and sell their goods. In the afternoon, visit a few of Hue's royal tombs scattered around the region. Later, head toward Hoi An with a stop at Cloud Pass (496 meters high) where you can watch the sun set over the shift from subtropical north to tropical south Vietnam. Arrive at your Hoi An hotel and you'll have the evening free to explore on your own.

Hoi An
You have the full day free in Hoi An. Wander through the riverside town at your own pace, checking out the mix of old architecture, tailor shops, and cafes. There's no scheduled activities, so you can spend time however you'd like and grab lunch wherever looks good to you.

Hoi An to Saigon - Mekong Delta
Fly from Danang to Saigon, and from there drive directly into the Mekong Delta, the region that produces most of Vietnam's rice. Drive to Ben Tre and board a small boat to navigate the waterways and canals that run through farming communities. Stop at a local farm to taste fresh fruit and tea, then switch to a rickshaw for a ride to a family restaurant where lunch is prepared from what grows around you. Climb back into a small boat and cruise along narrow waterways before heading back to Ben Tre and the drive back to Saigon.

Saigon to Bali (Sanur)
Catch a morning flight from Saigon to Bali, landing in Denpasar where your guide meets you. Get transferred to your beach hotel in either Sanur or Nusa Dua, and check in so you can start your beach vacation right away. You'll have the rest of the day to get settled and maybe take a swim or walk along the sand if jet lag isn't too bad.

Sanur - Beach Relaxation
Spend the day relaxing at your beach resort with nothing on the agenda. You'll have access to the beach, the pool, and whatever amenities your hotel offers. This is a good day to recover from travel and just unwind without worrying about tour schedules or timing.

Sanur - Beach Relaxation
Another full day at the resort to do exactly what you want. Whether you prefer swimming, lounging under a beach umbrella, or trying out a spa treatment at the hotel, this is your day to set the pace. The beaches here are clean and the water is warm, so it's a good time to just soak it all in.

Sanur - Beach Relaxation
Make the most of your final beach day before heading home. Enjoy your last morning swim or afternoon at the resort, and soak in a few more hours of sun and relaxation before you need to pack up and prepare for your departure.
