Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara
The journey begins with a 6 to 7 hour drive from Kathmandu heading toward Pokhara Valley. Once you arrive, you'll check in at your hotel situated near Phewa Tal lake, leaving the rest of your day free to get oriented. The town offers plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants if you want to grab dinner and walk around after your travel time.

Landmarks Phewa Tal - Day 2
Pokhara to Bans Kharka
You'll drive about 3 hours from Pokhara toward Beni and then continue on to Galeshwor where the actual trekking starts. After crossing a bridge over the Kali Gandaki River, the trail climbs upward to Bans Kharka. That's where you'll spend the night at a community eco-lodge, settling in after your first day of hiking.

Landmarks Kali Gandaki River - Day 3
Nangi
The day focuses on the village of Nangi and how the locals run their organic farms through an organic school program. You'll also see where they produce hand-made paper, part of their broader environmental conservation work. By evening you'll be back at a community lodge to rest.

Landmarks Nangi Village - Day 4
Mohare Danda
Today's trek takes you through forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo as the trail leads to Mohare Danda ridge. From there you get views of the surrounding mountains, and sunrise here is particularly nice with light hitting the snow-covered peaks. You'll stay at a community lodge for the night.

- Day 5
Danda Kharka
Start early to catch the sunrise from the ridge while the mountain air is cool and clear. The changing light across the landscape creates a really nice atmosphere for photos and reflection. The hiking is relatively easy today, and you'll reach Danda Kharka, a quiet spot in the middle of a forest, by midday. Another night at a community lodge awaits.

Landmarks Danda Kharka - Day 6
Ghandruk
You'll cross the Khumnu Khola river and arrive at Ghandruk, a mountain village where you can see several major peaks including Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machapuchare (Fish Tail), and Hiunchuli. The village itself sits on a mountainside with lush forests and terraced fields all around it.

Landmarks Ghandruk Village Annapurna South Machapuchare - Day 7
Ghandruk to Pokhara
This final trekking day takes you downhill through Ghandruk's teahouses and along a rocky trail with terraced farms on both sides. After passing through Birethanti, you'll reach Nayapul where a vehicle picks you up for the drive back to Pokhara, finishing the trek portion of your adventure.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
The return drive takes you from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, bringing the trip to a close. You'll head home with memories of the villages, forests, mountains, and the people you encountered throughout the trek.
