Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
Your pickup happens at 9 AM from Delhi Airport, your hotel, or the railway station. From there, you'll dive into Old and New Delhi with a guide who shows you Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, and gets you positioned for photos at the Red Fort. The Rajghat memorial comes next, then it's on to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll finish the day driving past India Gate, the President's House, and Parliament House before checking into your hotel for the night.

Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, you're driven to Agra on a 3 to 4 hour expressway route. Once you arrive in this medieval city along the Yamuna River, there's time to check in and freshen up. Your guide then takes you through Agra Fort, which served as the main residence for Mughal emperors until 1638, and you'll spend time taking in its architecture. Before heading back to the hotel, you'll go to Mehtab Bagh to catch the Taj Mahal at sunset from the ideal vantage point.

- Day 3
Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Jaipur
Your guide meets you at 5:45 AM for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, which is really the best time to see the Mughal architecture properly. You'll return to the hotel, freshen up, and grab breakfast. After checking out, the drive continues to Fatehpur Sikri, a 16th century ghost city that Emperor Akbar built as his capital before abandoning it after just 15 years. Later you'll head to Jaipur and settle in for the night.

- Day 4
Jaipur
Following breakfast, your guide meets you at 8 AM to explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Founded in 1727 as India's first planned city, it got painted pink in 1882 for Prince Albert's visit. You'll check out Amber Fort with its palace complex and courtyards, then see Jal Mahal, the water palace sitting in Man Sagar Lake. Next comes City Palace (the former Maharaja's seat), Jantar Mantar with its massive stone sundial, and a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal before returning to your hotel.

Jaipur to Varanasi
After breakfast, you're transferred to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Varanasi. A tour representative meets you at arrival and takes you to the hotel. Once you've settled in and had some rest, your local guide takes you down to the Ganges River and its ghats, finishing up with the evening aarti ceremony. The ritual fills the air with sandalwood and incense, prayer chanting, clashing symbols, and hundreds of oil lamps flickering across the water.

- Day 6
Varanasi
Wake up early for a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges where soft light catches the temples along the riverfront and locals make their way to the ghats. You'll walk through winding streets and the ancient alleys with their derelict palaces, temples, and shrines, getting a real feel for local life including funeral processions. Browse the religious object shops along Vishwanath Gali, then head back to the hotel for breakfast. The afternoon takes you to Sarnath, about 13 km northeast, where Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. Your evening stays free before the night at the hotel.
