- Day 1
Arrival in Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and transfer by car to either Thessaloniki or Kavala, depending on which route you choose. Once you get settled at your hotel, you'll meet your guide and driver. This evening features a welcome dinner where you can relax after your journey and get to know the group before the week begins.

- Day 2
Kavala
The day starts by checking out Kavala's main sights on foot and by car. You'll see Agios Nikolaos church, walk through the old town with its narrow streets, and visit the acropolis and castle for views over the city. Saint Silas monastery comes next before lunch. In the afternoon, head to the archaeological site of Philippi to see where early Christianity took hold, including Lydia's church and baptistery. Dinner back in Kavala wraps up the day.

- Day 3
Kavala to Thessaloniki
Start early at the Virgin Mary Eikosifoinissa Holy Convent in the mountains, then drive to Amfipolis to see the Lion monument. After lunch, you'll travel to Thessaloniki and check into your hotel. This evening covers several churches and historical sites on foot: St. Paul the Apostle church, Vlattadon Monastery, the White Tower, and Aristotelous square. Dinner happens in Ladadika, the old quarter by the waterfront.

Mount Athos Cruise
You'll leave early for Ouranoupolis on the coast. At 10:30, board a cruise boat for a spiritual journey around Mount Athos, a UNESCO site sacred to Orthodox Christianity. The boat skirts the southwest coast, giving you views of the monasteries clinging to the cliffs. You'll stop at Ammouliani Island to swim and have lunch on Banana Beach. Back in Thessaloniki by afternoon, spend time at the Catacombs of St. John the Baptist, Haghia Sophia, the Odeion, Rotonda, the Arch of Galerius, and the Pantheon before dinner.

- Day 5
Thessaloniki to Katerini
Start with the Church of Saint Demetrios, where the city's patron saint is honored. Then explore Heptapyrgion fortress and the Jewish quarter with its museum, old cemetery memorial, and Holocaust memorial. After lunch, drive to Veria to see Saint Paul's church and the Podium. Continue south to Vergina for the tomb of King Philip II, Alexander the Great's father. You'll stay overnight in Katerini, a coastal town at the base of Mount Olympus.

Katerini to Kalampaka
Visit Dion, the sacred city where ancient Macedonians worshipped Zeus in a great sanctuary. Drive inland to Kalampaka for lunch. This afternoon features the Meteora Monasteries perched on towering rock pillars. You'll tour Varlaam, Grand Meteoron, and Saint Stephen's, seeing priceless religious art and frescoes inside. Watch the sunset casting orange light across the rocks before settling in for the night in Kalampaka.

Kalampaka to Delphi
After breakfast, drive south with a quick stop at Thermopylae where the famous ancient battle happened. Continue to Delphi, the oracle site where ancient Greeks sought guidance from the gods. Spend time at the archaeological site and museum to see sculptures, inscriptions, and treasures. Later, visit one of the world's oldest olive groves with 1.2 million trees for an olive oil tasting. Stay overnight in Delphi, Galaxidi, or Nafpaktos nearby.

- Day 8
Delphi to Ancient Olympia
Leave early for Diakopto on the coast, where you'll cross an impressive bridge connecting the mainland to the Peloponnese. Board the rack railway to Kalavryta and visit the Holocaust memorial site there. Grab a good lunch in Planitero. From there, drive through the Foloi Oak forest to Ancient Olympia, checking into your hotel. Have dinner and settle in for the night.

Ancient Olympia to Nafplio
Spend the morning at Ancient Olympia exploring the archaeological site and museum where the ancient Olympic Games honored Zeus. Then head into the mountains of Arcadia, stopping in Laggadia for lunch at a local restaurant. After, visit a winery in Nemea for wine tasting and learn about the region's production methods. Continue to Mycenae to see the archaeological site and museum from the Bronze Age. Check into your Nafplio hotel and enjoy an evening walk through this charming town.

- Day 10
Nafplio to Athens
Climb up to the Palamidi castle early in the morning to explore its ramparts and enjoy sweeping views above Nafplio. Drive to Ancient Epidaurus to see the archaeological site, museum, and the famous ancient theater with its incredible acoustics. Have lunch in Lygourio. Then head to Ancient Corinth to walk through the site and visit the museum, plus see the Corinth Canal cutting through the rocky landscape. Transfer to central Athens for hotel check-in.

Athens
Spend the morning exploring Athens' most important sites. You'll visit the Acropolis, walk through the Pnyka and Areopagus hills with their historical significance, then tour the Acropolis Museum with its collection of sculptures and artifacts. After lunch, the evening is yours to wander through neighborhoods, find a taverna, or explore shops and cafes at your own pace.

- Day 12
Athens to Mykonos Cruise
You'll transfer from your Athens hotel to the port of Lavrio, driving along the Athens riviera with sea views. Board your cruise ship and set sail into the Aegean Sea. By evening, you'll arrive at Mykonos and have time to explore this cosmopolitan island. Walk the narrow streets of the city center, check out the iconic windmills, and wander through Little Venice where whitewashed buildings meet the water.

- Day 13
Cruise: Mykonos to Kousadasi
The ship sails to Kousadasi in Turkey for a full day exploring the ruins of Ancient Ephesus. You'll see the remains of the Artemis Temple, the Basilica of St. John, the Baths of Scholastica, the Odeon, and other Greco-Roman structures including a preserved theater. Alternatively, if you prefer a different experience, choose a countryside tour of Patmos island with a visit to the Grotto of Apocalypse where St. John the Evangelist reportedly saw the visions that became the Book of Revelation.

Cruise: Rhodes
Explore Rhodes on foot, walking through Medieval Rhodes and learning about the Knights of St. John who ruled here. Travel to Lindos, where Saint Paul supposedly arrived to spread Christianity. See the Acropolis of Lindos sitting high on a hill with its Doric Temple of Athena. Tour the captains' mansions from the 16th to 18th centuries with their period details. Visit the Church of the Virgin Mary to see the 15th-century frescoes still adorning the walls.

Cruise: Crete and Santorini
Start at the Palace of Knossos and its museum to learn about the Minoan civilization, Europe's first advanced society. The palace spreads across 20,000 square meters with over 1,500 rooms covered in colorful frescoes and decorated with fine pottery. Move to Heraklion, Crete's capital, to see the Venetian fortress of Koules and wander past Byzantine churches, Turkish fountains, and historic mansions along the waterfront. Then sail to Santorini where you'll walk up the crater of Nea Kameni volcano with its otherworldly geology and thermal springs. Stop at Palea Kameni for a swim in the warm therapeutic waters. Visit Fira town for refreshments and strolling. Use the funicular (ticket included) to descend to the Old Port for your return to the ship.

- Day 16
Cruise End: Lavrio to Athens
The cruise arrives back at Lavrio port in the morning and your guide waits outside the ship. Take a final morning trip to Cape Sounio to visit the Temple of Poseidon overlooking the sea. Afterward, have lunch at a fish tavern in Lavrio. Then transfer to either central Athens or Athens International Airport for your departure, ending your Greek journey.
