Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town
Your guide meets you at the hotel at 8 a.m., and from there you'll head to the Cape of Good Hope. You'll see the lighthouse and Diaz Cross, then stop at Boulders Beach to look for penguins in their natural habitat. The afternoon gives you free time to do whatever you'd like. By evening, head over to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where there's a nice lively atmosphere and the option to grab dinner if you're interested.

- Day 2
Cederberg Mountains
The route takes you through a lush, fertile valley on the way to the Cederberg Mountains. A local guide walks you through the area to see the rock formations and the landscape around you. After the walk, you'll head back to your guest house where you can settle in with some local rooibos tea and take it easy for the rest of the day.

- Day 3
Orange River, Namibia
You'll cross the border into Namibia as the landscape gradually becomes more barren. Once you arrive at your chalet, it sits right on the Orange River that separates Namibia and South Africa. Spend your time here however you like - swim in the river if you want, or just relax at your place.

- Day 4
Fish River Canyon
You'll arrive at the Fish River Canyon, a massive natural formation that formed over millions of years. This geological feature ranks as the second largest canyon in the world. Walk right up to the edge and take in the scale and depth of this creation.

- Days 5 - 6
Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon
The day brings you into the Namib Desert where you'll head to Sossusvlei to see the famous red dunes. You can climb Dune 45 and Big Daddy to get high vantage points, and as you're moving around, look for meerkats and oryx antelopes. Visit the Sesriem Canyon during your exploration. Later, as evening comes, there's a sundowner drink while the sun goes down over the desert.

- Days 7 - 8
Swakopmund
You'll arrive at Swakopmund, a coastal town with German colonial roots still visible in the architecture. Wander through the streets, pop into Café Anton, and check out the local buildings. The dining scene here is solid - fresh lobster and traditional German schnitzel are both available depending on what you're after.

Cape Cross and Damaraland
First, you'll go to Cape Cross where the Seal Reserve holds around 250,000 seals gathered together. From there, travel through different landscapes to get to Damaraland, with its rough valleys and the Brandberg massif standing out. You'll walk through San Bushmen rock paintings and visit the White Lady site to learn about their history and culture.

Etosha National Park
The day focuses on Etosha Pan, a massive salt-clay pan that used to be a prehistoric lake. Game drives take you through the area where you'll see zebras, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife at the waterholes. Bring your camera because there will be plenty of wildlife moments to capture.

- Day 12
Windhoek
You'll head to Windhoek, Namibia's capital city with a mix of modern and German colonial architecture. Spend the day walking around and checking out the different eras of buildings and design throughout the city. If you want to eat, there are lots of restaurants to choose from, and some are optional to visit depending on your interests.

Departure from Windhoek
Your trip ends today with a transfer to the airport around 8 a.m. for your flight out. Pack up, check out, and head to catch your departure.
