Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure
Your flight departs from Frankfurt, so you'll spend the day traveling to Brazil. This is your time to settle in, have a meal, and prepare yourself for what's coming next. Once you board, it's a long journey ahead, so getting comfortable and resting when you can makes sense.
- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
After landing in Rio, someone will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Then you'll head out on a guided walk through Copacabana, learning about the neighborhood's history and seeing spots like the Copacabana Fortress. The rest of the day is open, so you can wander down to the beach or grab dinner at one of the local spots.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
You'll take a cable car up to Sugar Loaf Mountain for views across the city, beaches, and rainforest from 396 meters up. Later, check out the Cathedral de Sao Sebastiao and walk the colorful Selaron steps. The afternoon is yours to either relax on the beach or book a helicopter flight if you want something different.

- Day 4
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, head to Cosme Velho and catch a cogwheel train up Corcovado mountain to see the Christ statue at 710 meters. The views stretch across Copacabana, Ipanema, and the whole city. Free time in the afternoon means you can hike through Tijuca National Park or grab a traditional churrasco barbecue dinner later.

- Day 5
Rio de Janeiro to Foz do Iguazu
You'll travel to the airport and fly to Foz do Iguazu, then head right to the Brazilian side of the falls once you land. From there, walk along the trails to see the 275 waterfalls and work your way to Devil's Throat where the water drops down. After that, take the panoramic elevator up for aerial views of the whole area. There's an optional helicopter flight available if you want an even better perspective.

- Day 6
Iguazu Falls
You're exploring the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls today on several hiking trails. Walk across a footbridge to reach Devil's Throat, where water drops 80 meters down. If you want to get even closer, there's an optional boat trip available for a different perspective of the falls.

- Day 7
Rio de Janeiro to Manaus
You'll head to the airport early for your flight to Manaus. Once there, your transfer takes you to the hotel. If time works out, wander around Manaus on your own and check out the Parisian-style fish market with its stained glass and the famous opera house from the rubber boom era.

Amazon Rainforest
Early morning departure by car and speedboat takes you into the Amazon. Along the way, you'll see wildlife and reach the Meeting of the Waters, where two rivers merge in a striking way. After passing through local villages, you'll have lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon on a boat tour spotting caimans and monkeys.

Amazon Rainforest
If weather works out, catch sunrise to hear howler monkeys and watch birds. Your guide will teach you tree-climbing and survival skills during a jungle walk. You can try piranha fishing if interested. After dark, take an evening boat tour with torches to see caimans.

Navigate through flooded jungle channels by boat with chances to see freshwater dolphins. Visit a local family to learn about life in the rainforest. Then head back to Manaus for the evening. You might grab dinner at one of the fish restaurants in the city to unwind.

Landmarks Amazon Rainforest - Day 11
Manaus to Imbassai
Fly from Manaus to Salvador da Bahia, then travel north to the beach town of Imbassai. Depending on your flight time, you might not have much daylight left. Someone picks you up and drives you to your beachfront pousada where you can settle in for the evening.

- Days 12 - 13
Imbassai
Two full days to just relax here. Spend time on the beach, swim in the ocean, or try kayaking on the river behind your pousada. You can also take optional trips to the turtle station at Praia do Forte or check out the old town of Salvador if you want a break from the beach.

Imbassai to Salvador
It's time to head back to Salvador and prepare for your flight home to Germany. You'll leave Imbassai early enough to make your connection, so pack up and say goodbye to the beach.

- Day 15
Arrival in Germany
You're back in Germany with your memories from Brazil. Unpack, relax, and maybe have a bottle of cachaca on hand to remind you of the trip whenever you want to think back on it.
