Adriana
Asked on April 24th, 2025Please tell me what the expectations are of your clients as far as what they can do. I have mobility issues and I will need help and I am not sure I am appropriate for your tours. I would like a better idea of whether I could participate in a way that is meaningful.
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written April 2025
This particular tour is quite physically demanding, with daily walks that often involve uneven, rocky terrain, as well as uphill and downhill sections. There really aren't any "easy days," and while we do our best to make the experience achievable—starting with shorter walks and only carrying a daypack—it does require a reasonable level of fitness and mobility to participate comfortably and safely. Given the mobility challenges you've mentioned, we want to be honest and let you know that this specific tour may not be the best fit.

Asked on January 30th, 2023is it's included a lot of hiking? could you please let her know the hotel list?

Physical rating for this tour is 4/5. There is no such thing as an 'easy day' on this tour. There are a lot of ups and downs, often quite rocky and uneven terrain. However, the walk has been designed to make it achievable to those with a reasonable amount of fitness by the fact that you only carry a daypack. Day 2: Today's walk is approximately 11.5 kilometres. Day 3: Today's walk is approximately 12 kilometres. Day 4: Today's walk is approximately 14 kilometres.

Asked on January 2nd, 2023How fit do you need to be for this trip
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2023
The physical rating for this tour is rated at a 4 meaning; Be prepared for some serious physical activity. The fitter you are, the more you'll enjoy it, as most activities will be challenging. There is no such thing as an 'easy day' on this tour. There are a lot of ups and downs, often quite rocky and uneven terrain. However, the walk has been designed to make it achievable to those with a reasonable amount of fitness by the fact that you only carry a daypack; and you start with short distances, working your way up to longer days and harder days. The best way to prepare physically for the trip is to walk, walk and walk some more - preferably on rocky and uneven surfaces and lots of stair walking. Try to walk frequently. Even walking around your suburb will get you walk-fit. By the start of our tour, you should be able to comfortably walk 12km and try and do a few 20km walks on rough tracks, as well as be fairly comfortable with steep up and downhill sections.
