- Day 1
London to Bath
Your hotel pickup gets the day started, and then you'll head along the Great West Way toward Oxford. There you'll see the university spires and colleges that make the city so recognizable. From there, the route takes you through the Cotswolds where villages like Stow-on-the-Wold show off their honey-coloured stone buildings. By late afternoon you'll reach Bath for an orientation covering the Roman and Georgian architecture. Dinner that evening is a traditional Sunday roast at a local restaurant.

Bath
After a relaxed morning back at your hotel, you have the full day to explore Bath on your own. This UNESCO World Heritage city has a lot of Georgian and Victorian architecture to walk through. If you're interested, you can spend time learning about Jane Austen, who lived here and features prominently in Bath's history. The pace is entirely yours for this day.

Bath to Cardiff
Following an easy morning, you'll travel toward Cardiff with a stop at the Brecon Beacons, a mountain range in South Wales. You get to choose between two activities: either join a local expert for a foraging walk to learn about edible and medicinal plants, or check out a local kitchen garden and see what's growing seasonally. By lunchtime you'll have a farm-to-table meal at a traditional pub featuring local seasonal ingredients. After that, you'll continue to Cardiff, Wales' main cultural center.

Cardiff to Plymouth
Your day begins at Glastonbury Abbey, the 8th-century monastery ruins that are wrapped up in local legend and considered a Grade I listed building. Next, you'll head to Plymouth in Devon, a port city known for its cobbled streets, gin distilleries, and as the place where the Mayflower departed. Your travel director will lead an orientation showing you Plymouth Hoe, the Citadel, the Barbican, and the Mayflower Steps.

Plymouth to Penzance
You'll travel to Looe, a Victorian-era coastal town where turquoise waters and sandy beaches are the main draws. Later, you continue to St. Ives with its art galleries, surf shops, and fashion boutiques lining the streets. By evening you'll arrive in Penzance, known from the comic opera about pirates who supposedly reached the city in the late 18th century.

- Day 7
Penzance to Barnstaple
Starting in Tintagel, featured in the King Arthur legend as his birthplace, you'll see unspoiled maritime scenery along the coast. Next stop is Port Isaac, a fishing village that's been used for British television filming. An orientation walk through the village gives you chances to photograph the stonework buildings and coastline. You'll head to Padstow for lunch where traditional fish and chips are on the menu, then return to Barnstaple.

Barnstaple to Bovey Castle
You'll stop briefly in Lynmouth before heading to Exmoor National Park in Somerset, where moorland, woodland, and dramatic coastline mix together. Lunch here is at your leisure to explore the area. Later, you'll travel to Bovey Castle located in the rolling valleys of Dartmoor National Park. This five-star property has an 18-hole golf course, two restaurants, and individually designed rooms. After settling in, catch up with other travellers over dinner at the hotel.

Later, you'll have a traditional Devonshire high tea with freshly baked scones and dainty sandwiches.

Your day features Lulworth Cove, England's only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Jurassic Coast. You can stroll with an ice cream on the pebbled beach or stop at the visitor center to learn about the unique geology. After that, you'll travel to the seaside town of Weymouth for time to explore and try traditional seaside rock candy. In the evening, you'll join other travellers for dinner featuring local cuisine and wine.

Weymouth to London
This morning takes you to Stonehenge to see the prehistoric monument and think about its history and mystery, constructed sometime between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. From there you'll head to Salisbury to visit the 13th-century cathedral, where Britain's tallest spire stands and you can see the world's best-preserved original copy of the Magna Carta. After Salisbury, you'll make your way back to your London hotel, bringing your tour through Wales, Devon, and Cornwall to a close.
