Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll arrive in Bangkok and get settled into your hotel. Check-in happens in the mid-afternoon, so you'll have time to drop your bags and freshen up after your travel.


- Day 2
Bangkok
This is a full sightseeing day around Bangkok. You'll start by visiting the Temple of the Golden Buddha, then head to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Grand Palace. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you'll take a long tail boat down the Chao Phraya River to see the canal network and stop at the Temple of Dawn on your way back.

Today you can spend however you like exploring Bangkok on your own. Check out the outdoor food markets and try some local cuisine, or if you're into shopping, head to the floating market and practice your bargaining skills.

Bangkok to Sukhothai
You'll have some free time this morning in Bangkok before heading to the airport. After you fly to Sukhothai, you'll be transferred to your resort where dinner will be waiting for you.

- Day 5
Sukhothai
You'll spend the day at Sukhothai Historic Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the temples and monasteries, including Wat Si Chum with its impressive seated Buddha. The afternoon is yours to either relax back at the resort or continue exploring the park if you want.

Sukhothai to Chiang Mai
You'll make the drive to Chiang Mai, and later this evening your tour director will take you on a tuk-tuk ride through the lively night market to get oriented with the city.

- Day 7
Chiang Mai
This morning you'll visit Wat Phra Singh to see the revered Buddha statue, then head up to Wat Doi Suthep in the mountains. You can either take a tram car or climb the Naga staircase which has more than 300 steps for the final ascent. After that, the afternoon is free so you can relax and explore Chiang Mai at your own pace.

Chiang Mai to Ban Thaton
You'll head out to Elephant Nature Park to spend time with rescued and orphaned elephants and hear their individual stories. Later, after lunch at the sanctuary, you'll visit Chiang Dao Cave, which is Thailand's most well-known cave system with stalagmites and stalactites. By evening you'll be at your resort in the Ban Thaton hills.

Ban Thaton to Chiang Rai
You'll drive to Doi Mae Salong to see a green-tea plantation with nice views overlooking the area. You'll also visit several hill tribe communities including the Yao, Lisu, and Akha people, known for their ornate headdresses decorated with silver coins. You'll have a chance to interact with locals and see how they live before heading to Chiang Rai.

- Day 10
Chiang Rai
You'll drive to Mae Sai, Thailand's northernmost town, and visit the Hall of Opium museum. From there, you'll head to the Golden Triangle viewpoint where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos all meet. A boat ride on the Mekong River gives you great views of the Laos countryside and local river life. After lunch, you'll head back to Chiang Rai for some free time.

Chiang Rai to Phuket
You'll get transferred to Chiang Rai airport for your flight to Phuket, which goes through Bangkok. When you land in Phuket, a representative will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
