Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Jagat
Start with a morning drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar, then hop into a jeep for a 3-hour ride to Jagat. You'll settle in near the Marsyangdi River for your first night, and the views from here are really nice.

Landmarks Marsyangdi River - Day 2
Jagat to Dharapani
Walk gradually alongside the Marsyangdi River on terrain that slopes upward gently. There are waterfalls to see along the way, and you'll navigate stone staircases through a wide valley before reaching Dharapani by the end of the day.

Landmarks Marsyangdi River - Day 3
Dharapani to Chame
This is a more relaxed trekking day from Dharapani with mountain and waterfall views throughout. After about 5 hours of walking, you'll reach Chame, which serves as the district headquarters for Manang and has way more facilities than where you've been trekking.

- Day 4
Chame to Pisang
From Chame you'll climb up to Telekhu, then follow a long flat section through forest terrain. Later you'll cross the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge, walk through Dhikurpokhari, and trek for roughly 45 minutes to Pisang where you'll stay at a teahouse.

- Day 5
Pisang to Manang
Check out the Tibetan-style village of Braga where houses are built on top of each other with roofs serving as outdoor space. The main monastery here is the largest in the district and sits high on a crag with great views around it. From there, trek about 45 minutes to Manang and your teahouse.

- Day 6
Manang to Yak Kharka/Ledar
After breakfast, trek uphill for roughly 4 hours through juniper forests heading to Yak Kharka, and you might see yaks grazing there. You'll pass the only teahouse at Thorong Khola along the way. Depending on conditions, you could go a bit further and stay at Ledar instead, though either way it's at a teahouse.

Landmarks Yak Kharka - Day 7
Yak Kharka/Ledar to Thorong Phedi
A shorter day to help your body adjust as the landscape gets wilder and more dramatic. Head up the valley, drop down to cross Jarsang Khola, then traverse a scree slope to reach the teahouses at Phedi at the base of Thorong La pass (4,560m/14,961 ft). Fair warning: this spot gets very cold and windy.

Landmarks Thorong La Pass - Day 8
Thorong Phedi to Jomsom
Today you'll cross the world's highest navigable mountain pass. Trek about 6 hours from Phedi to Thorong La following an old traders' route, with views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and other peaks. Mt. Dhaulagiri comes into view on the descent through grassy fields to Muktinath, a major Hindu pilgrimage site. Then drive to Jomsom for the night.

- Cross Thorong La Pass (4,560m) - highest navigable mountain pass in the world
- Trek from Thorong La to Muktinath through grassy fields and meadows

- Drive from Muktinath to Jomsom

- Day 9
Jomsom to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara through the world's deepest canyon, which sits between Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri with snow-capped peaks visible. Once you check in at your hotel, you can rest or head to the Lakeside area near Fewa Lake to browse souvenirs and try local food.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway for a scenic journey that's pretty refreshing. When you arrive, there's time to explore the city's vibrant streets and pick up gifts and souvenirs before heading home.
