In Amsterdam, the vouchers and information provided were very barebones, and the vouchers did not include QR or barcodes, so many of the places did not know what to do with the vouchers. Eventually it all worked and they were all accepted, but it usually required a manager's approval. On the days where the description states you will drive by, which means if time permits, you may have time to stop to take pictures. You will not have an opportunity to enter the location. The Optional Excursions can range from under $50 USD to over $150 USD. We do not confirm the Optional Excursions until 60 - 90 days prior to your scheduled departure. At that time, you will receive an email with the descriptions, cost and instructions to purchase the Excursions you would want to purchase. On Day 8, you will be able to take photos of the Anne Frank House, the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) and Blauwbrug (Blue Bridge).

Is there still a guide/are they around all the time? And transportation wise is it just set pick up times for us? I don't want to drive a car or anything myself as I am crazy nervous about driving on the wrong side of the road over there lol :)

Independent tours by Globus provide more time to explore on your own. There is a city host in each city you will be traveling to. The City host will be at each city/ hotel you will be staying at that will help you plan your day and assist you with any inquiries you may have while traveling. There are also included excursions on certain days of M1B (Independent London, Paris & Amsterdam City Stay) that will include a guide. Airport transfers are included if booking air with us traveling as per the tour dates. if you decide you book your own air airport transfers will be an additional cost with air information. Transfers are included while you are on tour.
