Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport where staff meets you with a private vehicle to your hotel. If you arrive before 5 pm, head to the office for a pre-trip briefing about the Annapurna Circuit trek. Otherwise, the team will go over everything with you that evening at your accommodation.

Kathmandu to Chame
After breakfast, you'll drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar in the morning, then transfer to a jeep for the 6-hour drive to Chame along the Marshyangdi River. This marks your first night staying in the trekking area.

Chame to Pisang
The trek heads out from Chame through forests to Telekhu, followed by a relatively flat section to Bhrathang. You'll cross the Marshyangdi River on a suspension bridge, pass through Dhikurpokhari, and walk 45 minutes to Pisang where you'll stay at a teahouse.

Landmarks Marshyangdi River - Day 4
Pisang to Manang
You'll visit Braga, a Tibetan-style village known for its stacked houses and the district's largest monastery sitting high on a crag with great views. After exploring, trek 45 minutes to Manang and check into a teahouse for the night.

- Day 5
Acclimatization in Manang
Today is set aside for acclimatization in Manang so your body adjusts to the higher elevation and reduces altitude sickness risk. In the afternoon, you can wander the village or hike to Gangapurna Lake or the 100 Rupees Lama Cave if you're feeling up to it.

Manang to Yak Kharka or Ledar
You'll trek uphill for 4 hours through juniper forests, passing the Thorong Khola teahouse where yaks often graze in the pastures. Depending on conditions, you might continue to Ledar or stop at Yak Kharka, either way staying at a teahouse for the night.

Yak Kharka or Ledar to Phedi
This is a shorter day focused on continued acclimatization as the landscape becomes more wild and open. You'll descend to cross Jarsang Khola, traverse a scree slope, and arrive at Phedi at the base of Thorong La (4,560m/14,961 ft). Expect it to be quite cold and windy here.

Landmarks Thorong La - Day 8
Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La
The main trek across Thorong La takes about 6 hours at 4,560m/14,961 ft, one of the world's highest navigable passes used by traders for centuries. Along the way you'll see Annapurna, Gangapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri and other peaks. After crossing, descend through grassy fields to Muktinath, a significant Hindu pilgrimage site known for its thermal water spouts.

Muktinath to Jomsom
From Muktinath, trek through meadows and streams, passing apple orchards on your way to Kagbeni. Then continue to Jomsom in the Kali Gandaki Valley where you'll stay overnight.

Jomsom to Pokhara
A drive takes you to Pokhara through the world's deepest canyon, with views of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri towering on either side and snow-topped peaks in the distance. After reaching your hotel, rest or spend time at the Lakeside area near Fewa Lake checking out souvenirs and local food options.

Landmarks Fewa Lake - Day 11
Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll drive back to Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway, enjoying scenic views along the route. Once you arrive, there's time to explore the city and pick up any gifts or souvenirs before heading home.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your 12-day Annapurna Circuit trek comes to an end. A Sherpa Expedition and Trekking representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home.
