Customer Reviews
- Ian· July 22nd, 2025The first week of the tour good with several attractions to see such The Badlands, Custer state Forest, Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone NP. The canyons were amazing and wildlife is good. On he second week (The Best of Montana), the supposed historic towns were not interesting especially Helena. Only last two days in Glacier NP were good. The driver/guide was good and has local knowledge. It would have been better if the driver/guide has talked more about each destination or anything along the way.Show more
- Anna· June 30th, 2025Good itinerary and pacing, great team leader and overall organizationShow more
- David· June 21st, 2025Our trip was fantastic. Our guide Caty was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many sights in Yellowstone (bears, bison, fox, deer, elk, antelope big horn sheep). Everything was perfect.Show more

Asked on August 14th, 2023What are the restroom accommodations like during camping and is there electricity available in the tents?

Traveler•Written August 2023If there is any way to know estimated return time to Las Vegas on the trip that would be very helpful.
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written August 2023
There is a restroom with running water at the campgrounds. Composting toilets are at most trailheads. Guides will carry a trowel/toilet paper kit for on-trail. I wouldn't count on electricity or charging outlets. I advise people to bring a portable phone charger like a GoalZero Flip 24.
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written August 2023
We normally drop folks back off in Vegas by 5pm, although an exact time can't be guaranteed in case of unforeseen weather, trail, or traffic conditions. Most people book a hotel for this night and then worry about traveling the following day.

Traveler•Written August 2023I would like to book but had another question regarding the running water at the restroom. Is there a shower or just a sink?
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written August 2023
There is not a shower facility directly at the Furnace Creek campground. Guides will facilitate at least one group transport to shower/pool facility which is located at the Ranch (1 mile from Furnace Creek Campground) and/or to the Stovepipe Wells pool. Guides will do everything they can to facilitate daily showers, but depending on group hiking speed and day's logistics, guests may need to walk to and/or from the Furnace Creek Campground to the pool at the Ranch (1 mile one-way).
