Riyadh
Your driver and guide meet you at King Khaled International Airport and take you to your hotel, which is about 30 minutes away (35 km). The rest of your day is open, so you can settle in at your own pace and get a feel for things.

Riyadh
After breakfast, you'll head into Riyadh's cultural center. Start at Al Masmak Museum to see historical relics and old photos, then move on to Al Murabba Palace, which used to be the royal residence. Grab lunch on your own, and after that check out the National Museum of Saudi Arabia and its park. By evening, you'll walk through Dira Souq, a traditional market where you can find brass items and Saudi souvenirs.

Riyadh
Begin at Old Diriyah, Saudi Arabia's ancient birthplace, where historic palaces and houses tell the story of the region. From there, head to Kingdom Tower, a 100-floor skyscraper where the Sky Bridge gives you sweeping views across Riyadh. Later, you'll see the Al Rajhi Grand Mosque, the largest in the city, and the King Fahd National Library with its distinctive golden and silvery silk-covered walls.

Riyadh to Al Ula
After breakfast, you're transferred to the airport for your flight to Al Ula. Once you arrive, your local guide and driver take you about an hour to Madain Saleh (Al Hijr), a UNESCO World Heritage site from ancient times. You'll explore the old trade route city and see the Nabatean Water Reservoir, the Nabatean Well, Qasr Al Bint temple, Girls Tombs, Al Diwan on Ethleeb Mountain, and Al Farid Palace. You'll stay overnight at your Al Ula hotel.

Al Ula
This morning you'll check out Al Deerah Heritage Village, an eight-century-old Arabic village built on the valley's highest point to protect against floods. The views over Al Ula from Musa Ibn Nusayr Fort are great, and the historic mud houses give you a real sense of how people lived. Don't skip Elephant Rock, which looks particularly nice at sunset when the light hits it differently.

Al Ula to Jeddah
Early morning brings a transfer to the local airport for your flight to Jeddah. Your driver and guide meet you and take you to Al-Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage district with old buildings, traditional open-air markets, and local restaurants. You'll photograph the historic Jeddah North Gate, cycle along the New Jeddah Corniche by the Red Sea, and end at the Floating Mosque, which sits on the water with its single iconic dome.
