Tony is a great guide. It was a demanding itinerary travel -wise but he very efficiently got us to everywhere we needed to be. He provided an interesting overview of all the places we visited and connected us with some great dining as well. My only caution to others who make take this trip is that you may save money and aggravation by arranging your own transfers. I feel I was overcharged for the Venice to Marco Polo transfer (which was way more than the cost of a bus ticket) and in Rome I was kept waiting for some time and after three phone calls I was finally connected to a cab driver in Rome.

The trip was overall amazing. The tour guide was the best. However there were a few things I would like to bring up. Some stops in some cities were so short it would almost be best if they wasnt even in it. For example we stopped at Orvieto and was there only 3 hours or so only enough time to do the underground tour. Honestly, the trip would have been fine with out this stop and continue to the next city to have more time there. Same with Malin. We stopped for 4 hours. The only thing worth seeing was the church. If the stop is on there we should just do a guided tour quick lunch and head on to next stop to have more time in the next city which there is more to do. Lastly, I want to bring up how you room travelers together. I understand it all goes off of who signs up for a roommate. HOWEVER there NEEDS to be an age gap limit. My roommate was 35 years older than me and because of this made the trip no enjoyable sharing a room. I think if there is no one withing a 15 year age gap to you that he company should reach out and let you know and have the option to pay more and have a single room or decided that would be okay. I felt as if I was on vacation with my grandmother when it came to sharing a hotel room. Thank you
