Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi
Your hotel pickup happens at 8am, and from there you'll head straight to the Giraffe Centre. You'll learn about what they're doing to protect Rothschild Giraffes and get the chance to feed them from a raised platform, which is a pretty interactive experience. After that, you've got a tight window at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust since it only opens from 11am to noon, so you'll want to head over right after the giraffes. There you'll see the rescued baby elephants and get their individual stories. Before lunch, you'll stop by a beads factory to watch how they make everything from start to finish. You'll have time to grab lunch on your own somewhere. Then it's off to Bomas of Kenya for the cultural shows that run from 2:30pm to 4pm, where you'll see tribal music, dance, and performances. Once that wraps up, you'll head back to your hotel.
