Arrival in Siem Reap
Land at Siem Reap International Airport where your guide meets you. After checking in, you'll spend an hour on Tonle Sap Lake watching floating villages and fishermen at work. The Old Market comes next, letting you soak in local culture and energy. By late afternoon, head up to Phnom Bakheng Hill to catch the sunset framed by ancient temple ruins and rainforest.

Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
After breakfast at your hotel, drive about 1.5 hours to Angkor Thom. The morning covers Bayon Temple with those distinctive carved faces, then Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Phimeanakas Gate, and Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, walk through atmospheric Ta Promh before finishing at Angkor Wat, the sprawling temple complex. You're free in the evening.

Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
Eat breakfast then transfer to the airport for a one-hour flight to Phnom Penh. Once you arrive, start your half-day city tour at Independence Monument. From there, check out the Royal Palace compound with its colorful Khmer-style architecture and the Silver Pagoda filled with Buddha statues decorated in diamonds, emeralds, gold, and silver. Stop by the National Museum (that distinctive red building from 1917) and finish at Wat Phnom, the city's only hill, where climbing up gives you panoramic city views.

Phnom Penh to Chau Doc
Your last morning in Cambodia is yours to relax or shop. At noon, your guide picks you up and takes you to the pier. You'll board a speedboat departing at 12:00 pm that reaches Chau Doc by 5:00 pm. Once there, get settled into your hotel.

Chau Doc to Mekong Cruise
Travel by car or bus in the morning to either Cai Be or Can Tho. In the afternoon, you'll board your cruise ship, get your cabin sorted, and have lunch served. As the boat moves through Mekong Delta branches and canals, relax on the sundeck or in the lounge while watching lush vegetation and local daily life. Land excursions let you explore orchards and rice fields, or observe traditional boat building and food processing.

Start before sunrise at 6:30 am watching locals work while having early breakfast. Visit the Cai Rang Floating Market. On even dates, explore small channels around Cai Be by sampan or foot; on odd dates, tour around Vinh Long. Either way, you'll see exotic fruits, vegetables, handcrafted products, and can bargain with sellers. See local candy and cake factories plus boat building yards. Lunch lands at Mekong Rest Stop or Vinh Long City depending on the date. Later, transfer to Ho Chi Minh City, check in, then board an evening dinner cruise on the Saigon River with traditional Vietnamese music and dance.

Hanoi City Tour
After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8:30 am for the full Hanoi city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh's traditional stilt house next door. The One Pillar Pagoda founded in 1049 stands nearby as an important city symbol. Then explore the Thang Long Imperial Citadel built in the 11th century by the Ly Viet Dynasty on older Chinese fortress remains. After lunch, see the Hoa Lo Prison and Vietnam Museum of History with documents spanning Vietnamese history. The tour wraps at 4:00 pm. Evening is free for exploring and shopping.

Hanoi to Halong Bay Cruise Embarkation
At 8:30 am, drive 2.5 hours to Tuan Chau Island and check into Paradise Suites Hotel by 11:30 am. Transfer to Paradise Elegance cruise ship at 12:30 pm for a welcome briefing and drink at Le Marin Restaurant. Lunch starts at 1:00 pm as you cruise toward Halong Bay, passing Fighting Cocks Islet and various caves. Visit Sung Sot Cave at 2:45 pm with bay views or try spa treatments. Wake early for Tai Chi on the sundeck at 6:30 am watching sunrise, then light breakfast at Le Piano Bar. Head to Ti Top Island at 7:30 am for swimming or hiking to the summit for panoramic bay views. Back aboard for buffet breakfast at 8:30 am while cruising past caves and rock formations. Complete checkout before disembarking at Tuan Chau Marina at 10:30 am. Light lunch follows. You'll depart for Hanoi at noon with time for relaxation or shopping before your international flight. Your guide arranges the airport transfer and the trip ends.
