- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll touch down at Kathmandu Airport and get driven to your hotel where they'll greet you with a welcome drink. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the capital and get a feel for the city on your own terms.

- Days 2 - 3
Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
Leave Kathmandu early and drive about 5 hours to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once you arrive, take a walk through the local village at sunset and then watch a Tharu cultural dance performance. The following day brings full jungle activities with a naturalist guide including jeep safaris, nature walks, canoeing, and bird watching. You'll be looking for one-horned rhinos, different deer species, boar, leopards, and if you're lucky, a Bengal tiger.

Chitwan National Park to Kathmandu
After breakfast at the resort, head back to Kathmandu on the 5-hour drive. When you get there, the afternoon and evening are open so you can do what you like around the city.

Kathmandu Sightseeing
Start your day with an optional hour-long scenic flight to see the Himalayan range and Mt. Everest from the air. Then tour Patan, the royal city with Buddhist and Hindu sites including Patan Durbar Square and a 17th century Krishna Temple. Listen to a singing bowls performance from Buddhist monks. From there, head to Swayambhunath, known as the monkey temple, and visit Kathmandu Durbar Square with its old palaces, temples, and courtyards. Finish with a rickshaw ride through the Old City to Thamel for dinner and a cultural dance show.
