Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi
You'll be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day settling in and resting after your flight. It's a straightforward arrival day to get acclimated to the city before heading out on safari.
- Day 2
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
This morning you'll be transferred from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, which takes several hours by road. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then head out on your first game drive. The park sits right at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, and you'll likely spot large herds of elephants and other wildlife.

- Day 3
Amboseli National Park
Start early before sunrise for morning game drives, which is when Mount Kilimanjaro is most likely to be visible. Amboseli offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo, and various plains game with the snow-capped mountain in the background throughout the day.

- Day 4
Amboseli National Park to Lake Manyara National Park to Karatu
You'll leave Amboseli and head into Tanzania. On the way, stop for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge, then continue to Lake Manyara National Park. The landscape here includes groundwater forest, open floodplains, and acacia woodland where you can spot tree-climbing lions, buffalo herds, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and elephants. After an afternoon game drive, drive on to your lodge in Karatu for dinner.

- Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
An early start gets you to Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll descend to the crater floor for a full day game drive. This conservation area holds around 25,000 animals and is one of the few places in Tanzania where you can potentially see the Big Five. The Masai people also live here and continue their traditional pastoral lifestyle within the area.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 6
Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Today you're heading to the Serengeti, Tanzania's oldest and most visited national park. The drive includes game viewing along the way, and you'll arrive at your lodge in time for dinner. The vast open plains are known for some of Africa's best wildlife watching opportunities.

Serengeti National Park
Spend two days exploring the Serengeti with multiple game drives. If you're there during migration season, you'll see six million animals moving across the plains, including over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson's gazelles alongside wildebeest. Even outside migration, herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, elands, and various antelope species are common sights.

- Days 9 - 11
Serengeti to Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive to Migori Airstrip and fly to the Masai Mara for three nights. You'll do an afternoon game drive on arrival. Over the next two days, you can choose between morning and afternoon game drives or full day outings depending on what your lodge offers. You also have the option to take an early morning hot air balloon safari (about an hour) followed by a champagne breakfast.

Enjoy one final early morning game drive before breakfast, then head to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, arriving around midday. From there you'll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight home.
