Asked on April 1st, 2025I am very keen to witness the large waves at Nazare. Will there be adequate time to go to the Fort to see the museum and hopefully see some surfers in action.

The entrance ticket to the fort is not included. However, you can visit it during our time in Nazare. The last time I visited, the cost was €2 per person. Inside the fort, you will find some surfboards on display and a model illustrating the topography of the Nazare Canyon. While we cannot guarantee seeing the big waves, as it depends on nature, we always aim to provide the best possible experience.

Are you advising that I join the tour in October as the tour in November is not guaranteed as there are no bookings and therefore the price of the tour is not guaranteed.

You're welcome to wait and see if more participants join, but please note that we can only confirm the trip once the minimum number of travelers is reached. As an alternative, you might consider our October departure, which already has confirmed participants.

You can certainly jump off the adventure at any point if you wish, however, note this adventure has fixed dates and itineraries and is not a hop-on/hop-off style of trip. Any deviation from the scheduled itinerary would be at your own cost, as your adventure operator will not amend the cost of booking on this basis.
