- EKElena· March 20th, 2024An all around wonderful experience in Turkey. This was my second visit to Turkey and I was traveling solo. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and organization by the tour guides. My transitions between the cities and hotels were smoothness. When we went on the tours, the guides were caring, welcoming, and knowledgeable. In 8 short days we visited Istanbul, Kusadasi, and Cappadocia. There was so much to see, yet the tour was planned well, that there was enough time for rest each day. There were shopping stops but they added to the cultural experience (we visited a pottery factory, stone factory, and leather showroom -- all high quality and interesting places). Hotel in a cave in Cappadocia was the best. My only criticism is that some of the the places listed in the program in Cappadocia were skipped, and sometimes I wished for a more in-depth information about the places we visited, but at the same time, the tour was well designed to get visitors exposed to the historical and cultural sights without overwhelming them. So if someone is looking for a well designed introductory tour in Turkey - this is it. If you're looking to learn more in-depth facts about history and culture of the places visited, you need to do our own research. Hotel in Kusadasi was modest in accommodation and breakfast, though overlooking the beautiful Aegean sea. Overall the organization of the team was impeccable - if I had any questions they were immediately asked. Everything went smoothly.Show moreTrip date: March 2024

I think this tour is best during autumn or spring.
