What kind of gear are we expected to pack? Are we going to have our luggage transferred between destinations or do we need to carry everything with us; ie a true backpacking type of experience? Are the guides Romanian, ie "local resources"? In the trip description it is stated that it starts in Bucharest and ends in the Danube delta but in the details section it is stated as starting and ending in Bucharest. Can you please confirm what goes.

Gear: no tent required as you will be staying in refuges; we recommend a 20-30L day pack, water bottles, hiking gear (including worn-in hiking shoes) and layers for the chillier evenings. Luggage transfers: you are welcome to carry everything with you, but we like to offer help for those who can't and who have struggled to know what to bring. Guides: we use a team of local guides. They are fantastic and really the best sources of knowledge of the area. They of course speak English wonderfully. Itinerary: the trip starts and ends in Bucharest - apologies for any confusion caused!
