- JAJENNIFER· October 18th, 2024The first 4 days were good but then it went downhill towards the end. The hotels were not 4 stars at all. Very dirty, no AC. The trip to Pompeii, capri was super disorganized. You get 4-5 tour guides who didnt have any clue what they were doing. Capri was nice but it was very expensive. Bus tour was okay-some people didn’t have any consideration regarding the space and actually want to recline their seat when you have very little space . I would not recommend this trip to anybody .Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- RVRocco· September 22nd, 2023Tour was good with tour director and driver (for about 6 days). The remaining 4 days was too confusing and not enjoyable. They mixed several tours together mixing different people with everyone. The original group was dispersed-majority of group (approx. 35 people were all frustrated). The city tax at each hotel was an additional cost which was not expected (Rome $6 Euro per person per night, Florence $ 7Euro). Having gone previously with Trafalgar-they are much more organized and make the tour more enjoyable (although slightly more expensive, they have porterage service, same director and driver for whole tour, no city tax at hotel-or at least they include it in cost)Show moreTrip date: August 2023

- AFAida· July 13th, 2023Loved the experience and how put together it was. Towards end buses were not so great. But had a blast with first tour guide and bus driver. Enjoyed the mix of people on tour, meals, efficiency, and variety of places visited. Thank you!Show moreTrip date: June 2023

- HLHoang· October 14th, 2022Our rating for the Treasures of Italy tour is based on the following pros and cons. First the pros; we rate a 5 for the number of locations visited; Rome, Florence, Pisa, Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, Bologna, Venice, and Vatican City; in just 10 days was great. If you have one opportunity to see Italy, this tour covers a lot of territory. Cons of the tour include—the hotels were okay, and we rate them jointly as a 4, however do not expect 4–5-star locations consistently. The food provided as part of the tour is rated 2-3. The pastries provided for breakfast were good, but the eggs were cold and very watery. The staff at some hotels were less than welcoming. The tour guide for the overall tour, Nicole, is rated as a 3. She was very knowledgeable but berated one couple repeatedly without cause. Her comments to the lovely couple embarrassed them and made us, and others on the tour, uncomfortable. However, the independent tour guides in Florence and at the Vatican were superb, both rated 5 stars. If you take the tour, be ready to find your way back to the hotel from a few locations. Walking tour of Rome on the first night had a pickup at the hotel but we were left to find our way back to the hotel which was a 40 minute walk at 10 p.m. at night. We were taken to Venice and had to return on our own (which we did by train and walking at the cost of 1.50 Euros) or we could have gone back with the tour guide via ferry and bus for the cost of 15.00 Euros. In summary, the country is beautiful, the architecture provides a portrait of history that you cannot fully capture in pictures, and the gelato was fantastic.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
