Itinerary
- Day 1
Sarajevo
You'll arrive in Sarajevo and spend your first morning getting oriented in the historical center. The Sarajevo Cathedral is right there in the heart of the city, and it's worth taking time to walk around and soak in the atmosphere. After exploring the area and grabbing lunch somewhere local, you'll have the afternoon to settle into your accommodation and rest up before starting the rest of your Balkan journey.

Sarajevo to Mostar
This morning you're heading from Sarajevo toward Mostar, which takes a couple hours. Along the way, you'll stop at the Tunnel of Hope museum to learn about the city's recent history, then continue on to see the Konjic bridge before arriving in Mostar. Once there, you'll walk through Mostar's historical center and check out the famous bridge that defines the town. By evening you're settled in for the night here.

Kravica - Medjugorje
You'll start the day heading out to Pocitelj, a medieval town that's on UNESCO's tentative list. From there, it's on to Kravica waterfall, which has some beautiful scenery and natural pools. The drive continues to Medjugorje, a pilgrimage center that draws visitors from all over. After spending time there, you'll head back to Mostar for the night.

Radimlja - Vjetrenica Cave
Early on you're driving to Blagaj monastery, which sits on a UNESCO tentative list and has a striking location. Then you'll check out Radimlja, an archaeological site with historical significance. Later in the day you'll visit Vjetrenica cave, a UNESCO-listed site that's quite different from what you've seen so far. By evening you'll be in Trebinje, your home base for the night.

Sutjeska Park - Return to Sarajevo
This morning starts at Tvrdos monastery, where you can tour the grounds and see their winery operations if interested. After that you'll spend time exploring Trebinje church and getting a feel for the town itself. Later you're heading out to Sutjeska park to see some natural scenery and walking trails. From there, it's the drive back to Sarajevo to wrap up your tour.
