Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive at Delhi International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest up or wander around the city a bit. Delhi has this interesting mix of old heritage sites and modern culture all woven together, so there's plenty to see when you're ready.

Delhi
After breakfast, you'll spend the day hitting Delhi's main historical spots and markets. Start at Jama Masjid, then take a rickshaw through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk bazaar before reaching the Red Fort. Later in the day you'll head to Rajghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated), check out Humayun Tomb with its Persian-style gardens, and see Qutub Minar. You'll also drive past the President's residence and India Gate on your way around the city.

Delhi to Agra
You'll travel from Delhi toward Agra, and along the way stop to visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. This monument is carved from fine Indian marble with detailed mosaics and semi-precious stone work throughout. From there, it's on to Agra, a city with a long history and some really significant architectural works.

Agra
This is the day you'll see the Taj Mahal, the white marble structure that took 22 years to build as a mausoleum for Emperor Shah Jahan's queen. After spending time there, you'll check out a handicraft gallery to watch marble carving demonstrations. Then it's on to Agra Fort, which has red sandstone walls and features courtyards, mosques, and royal chambers inside. The rest of your day is open to relax.

Agra to Ranthambore National Park
You're heading to Abhaneri, an old village in northern Rajasthan. The main stop here is Chand Baori, a step well dating back to the 8th or 9th century that was used to store water. There's a temple nearby dedicated to Harshat Mata, the goddess of joy. After lunch, you'll continue driving toward Ranthambore National Park, which sits in a region that was once hunting grounds for Jaipur's Maharajas.

Ranthambore National Park
You'll head out early for a safari into Ranthambore National Park with a local guide in a jeep or canter vehicle. You'll be looking for tigers, hyenas, jackals, and foxes while taking in the historic structures and the old hilltop fort there. Back at the hotel after lunch for rest, then you'll go out again for an evening safari before returning for dinner where you can talk about what you saw.

Ranthambore National Park to Jaipur
Today you're traveling to Jaipur, known as the Pink City because of the colored stucco buildings that were painted that way back in 1876 for a royal visit. On the drive there, you'll pass by hilltop forts and palaces. Once you arrive, you'll see Hawa Mahal and stop at a jewelry store before heading to your hotel for the night.

Jaipur
You'll explore Jaipur's architecture and culture throughout the day. Head to Amber Fort on the hillside, traveling by jeep to get panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape. The fort blends Mughal and Hindu styles and includes the Palace of Mirrors. You'll also shop for local handicrafts like carpets and textiles, visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, and tour the City Palace. Stroll through the busy bazaars before an optional Indian dinner with traditional dance entertainment this evening.

Jaipur to Jodhpur
You'll arrive in Jodhpur, the blue city built below the massive Mehrangarh Fort. Start with a visit to Jaswant Thada Memorial, an ornate marble structure built in 1899 to honor the Maharaja. Then you'll climb up to Mehrangarh Fort itself, built in 1459 from red sandstone and one of the best-preserved forts in Rajasthan.

Jodhpur to Udaipur
Leaving Jodhpur, you'll stop in Ranakpur to visit one of Jainism's most important pilgrimage sites. The Jain Temple dates back to the 14th and 15th centuries and features white marble with over a thousand columns inside, with views of the landscape all around. After that, you'll continue on to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, arriving in the evening to explore some local restaurants.

Udaipur
Your day starts with a tour of Udaipur's City Palace, a marble and granite structure right on Lake Pichola's edge. This is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and combines medieval, European, and Chinese architecture with Belgium mirrors throughout. Next you'll visit Sahelion-ki-Bari gardens with fountains, lotus pools, and marble elephants. Later in the afternoon you'll take an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.

You'll head to the airport in the morning for your domestic flight to Mumbai. Once you land, you'll begin exploring India's financial center.

After breakfast, you'll go to the Gateway to India Arch, built to mark King George V's 1911 visit. You'll also see Dhobi Ghat, the open-air laundry where workers hand wash clothes in concrete troughs. Stop by Mani Bhavan, the museum where Mahatma Gandhi was based during his 1942 movement, and visit the ISKCON Temple. You'll also drive through colonial areas to see historic buildings from that era.
