Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Touch down in Nepal and get picked up at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and get comfortable. This gives you time to adjust to the time zone and prepare mentally for the trek briefing happening tomorrow.

- Day 2
Kathmandu
A local licensed guide walks you through Kathmandu's main attractions, hitting four UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the city. You'll see Hindu temples, Buddhist temples, an old stupa, and the historic royal square. The route takes you beyond the usual tourist areas, so you get a real sense of local life. By afternoon you'll be ready for the trek orientation and final prep.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early start for the 8-hour bus ride to Pokhara in an air-conditioned tourist bus. The driver stops twice so you can grab breakfast and lunch while taking in views of mountains, villages, rice fields, and rural countryside. Once you arrive in Pokhara, walk over to Phewa Lake which is just a short stroll from your hotel for an evening walk.

- Day 4
Pokhara to Jomsom to Kagbeni
Catch an early morning flight from Pokhara to Jomsom with aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges spreading out below. Land and trek for about 3 to 4 hours heading toward Kagbeni village through dry, Tibetan-like terrain. Once there, check out the 5th-century village, connect with locals, and visit the monastery. Overnight at a guesthouse in the village.

- Day 5
Kagbeni to Muktinath
Trek for 6 hours on a steeper trail than yesterday with mountains on both sides of the path. Snow-capped peaks rise on one side while dry mountains stretch on the other. You'll reach Muktinath for the night, where other trekkers heading down from Thorong La pass often stay, so you might meet people with different trek experiences.

- Day 6
Muktinath to Marpha
Six hours of trekking as the landscape shifts from dry mountains into greener hills. The mostly downhill walking feels familiar since it's similar to the Jomsom to Kagbeni route you did earlier. Stop in Marpha village, which is known for locally made brandy. You can try some if you want, but don't overdo it before tomorrow's trek.

Marpha to Kalopani
Take an easy 5-hour walk along the river valley from Marpha to Kalopani. This section is mostly flat with minimal elevation gain, so it's a nice break after the harder trekking days. You'll have time to relax and enjoy the mountain and valley scenery without pushing yourself too hard.

Landmarks/POIs Kalopani - Day 8
Kalopani to Tatopani
Trek for 6 hours along the river's edge with views of green hills and open river valleys. Mountains frame the walk the whole time. Reach Tatopani by evening, where natural hot springs let you soak tired muscles and hang out with other trekkers doing the same trek.

Landmarks/POIs Tatopani - Day 9
Tatopani to Ghorepani
Start early for a long 8-hour uphill push to Ghorepani. Cross the river and pass through Shikha village before entering thick green forest and rhododendron forests, which are especially nice if you're trekking in spring. The terrain gets steeper but the views at Ghorepani of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make it worth the effort.

Landmarks/POIs Ghorepani Shikha - Day 10
Poonhill - Ulleri to Pokhara
Hike uphill for about 1.5 hours to Poonhill to catch sunrise hitting Mount Fishtail, where the snow-covered peaks glow in the first light. Head back for breakfast and then trek downhill through jungle for 3 hours to reach Ulleri. From there a jeep takes you back to Pokhara where the trek ends. Spend your evening walking by the lake, going out on the water, or checking out nightlife at Pokhara. Stay at a hotel right on the lake.

Head back to Kathmandu on an 8-hour scenic bus ride in a tourist bus. Watch countryside and villages roll past as you travel. Check into your hotel in Kathmandu for the night to wrap up the trip.
