Kathmandu
This day focuses on Kathmandu Valley's UNESCO sites. You'll check out Bouddhanath Temple and Pashupatinath Temple, then head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan, which is Nepal's oldest temple. Along the way, your guide shares insights into local history, culture, religion and how people live here.

Kathmandu
Early morning brings a scenic flight over Mount Everest and the Himalayan range with aerial views of Kathmandu Valley. After landing, you'll visit a local family's home to see their daily life and have an authentic Nepalese lunch with them. The afternoon is yours to do whatever you'd like.

Kathmandu to Delhi
A short international flight takes you from Kathmandu to Delhi. Once you arrive, you're transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore at your own pace.

Delhi
Starting in the morning, you'll visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Then you pass by the Red Fort and stop at Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In the afternoon, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar are on the agenda, followed by a tour through Lutyens' Delhi to see monuments like India Gate and Viceroy's House.

Delhi to Agra
Head to the train station to board the luxury Maharajas Express. You'll receive a traditional Indian welcome, complete your registration, and get settled into your cabin. Brunch happens onboard, then you disembark in Agra to tour Agra Fort, a UNESCO site and former Mughal fortress.

Agra to Ranthambore to Jaipur
After breakfast in a private setting, you'll see the Taj Mahal, the iconic white-marble UNESCO monument and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. From there, it's on to Ranthambore National Park for a safari where you might spot Royal Bengal tigers and other wildlife. You're back on the train by evening for dinner as it heads toward Jaipur.

Breakfast comes to you onboard the train before touring Jaipur. You'll explore Amer Fort, a UNESCO site known for its magnificent Rajputana architecture perched on the hills. Lunch is back on the train, then you have free time in the afternoon. Evening brings dinner at an exclusive venue where you'll experience Rajputana hospitality.

Jaipur to Udaipur
After saying goodbye to the Maharajas Express crew, you head to the airport for a short domestic flight to Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes. Upon arrival, you're transferred to the Taj Lake Palace hotel, which sits in the middle of Lake Pichola. In the evening, take a boat ride on the lake with a visit to Jag Mandir.

Udaipur
