Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive at Athens Airport or Piraeus Port and get transferred to your hotel. The afternoon opens up for you to explore on your own schedule. Syntagma Square works well for people watching, and Attica department store has high-end shopping if that interests you. Kolonaki's got nice boutiques and cafes tucked throughout the neighborhood, Ermou Street is solid for shopping, and Plaka's winding alleys are worth a wander if you want to get a feel for the old city.

- Day 2
Athens
After breakfast you'll join a guided tour hitting Athens' main landmarks. The Panathenaic Stadium comes first, then you'll pass the Prime Minister's residence and see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Parliament, and the Unknown Soldier memorial at Constitution Square. From there you head up to the Acropolis to see the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. The day finishes at the Acropolis Museum before heading back to your hotel by evening.

After breakfast, the day's yours to fill however you'd like. You can check out any sites you missed or want to see again, stay at the hotel and relax, or join an optional guided food tour. That food tour takes you through historic neighborhoods and food markets where you'll try authentic Greek cuisine, cheeses, cured meats, and mezze.

Athens
After breakfast, you can explore Athens like a local. The Sunday flea market at Platia Avissinias in Monastiraki has rare furniture, vintage pieces, and handmade items worth browsing. You can grab Greek coffee or grab lunch at a traditional tavern while you're there. If you want something different, there's an optional half-day tour out to Cape Sounion where the Temple of Poseidon sits on the rocky promontory overlooking the sea.

Departure
