Day 1
Arrival in Uvita
You'll land at Juan Santamaria Airport where your representative meets you for the drive to Uvita. Check-in happens around 3:00 pm at your hotel. Uvita sits on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast and has a relaxed vibe with waterfalls, wildlife, and that laid-back beach town feel you might be looking for.

Day 2
Cano Island Snorkeling
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Uvita beach for a boat trip to Cano Island. The ride takes about 1.5 hours and you might see dolphins or whales depending on what season you're traveling. Once there, you'll do two snorkeling sessions in different spots the captain and guides pick out, spending around 2.5 hours or more in the water. Lunch gets served on Violines Island (or back at Uvita beach if conditions aren't good), and you'll have time for facilities before heading back.

The sites, the guides and the local people were all great. I travelled solo and met some amazing people from all over the world. Food was pretty good and I liked the local beers. The nature and flora were simply amazing. The only thing I suggest, a better time on the Transports. I knew that I was being picked up in the morning, but no idea what time? Also, I was switched to a different hotel on my first stop, one that was 2km out of town from the original hotel. No big deal, but it would've been nice to know. Got my steps in going to town and back!

What an exciting adventurous trip. We hiked and went zip lining. We saw turtles lay eggs in the sand in the middle of the night. The hotels were nice, comfortable and the staff were amazing. Over all a great trip.

Great tour to see all most areas of Costa Rica. From the carribean side to the Pacific. Turtle hatching, volcano hike , waterfalls , and zip lining, to name a few. Adventurous and fun !

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Destination Services Costa Rica. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Destination Services Costa Rica will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
