Sanya
You'll arrive at Sanya Phoenix International Airport or Railway Station and connect with your English-speaking guide. The transfer to your hotel takes about 30 minutes. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like, whether that's relaxing at the hotel or walking around the city to get a feel for the local culture and streets.

- Day 2
Sanya
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend the morning and early afternoon on a half-day Sanya tour. First stop is Luhuitou Park, about 5km south of downtown, where you'll get nice views of the city from the hilltop and hear the local legend about a hunter and a deer-woman. From there, head into the city center to check out Hongqi Street market, where you can walk through stalls selling tropical fruits and local goods. You'll return to the hotel by late afternoon, leaving your evening free.

Sanya
You have a full day to do as you please in Sanya. Spend time on the beach, take a walk along the coast, or visit Seaside Tropical Gardens if that appeals to you. If you'd rather join an optional excursion, there are three choices: Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park with its 108-meter Buddha statue and temples, Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone focused on Chinese traditions, or Nanwan Monkey Island to see over 2,000 macaques followed by a stop at Xincun Local Market. These optional trips are half-day outings, so you can fit one in depending on your interests.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll check out at the time you've arranged. Your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Sanya Phoenix International Airport or Sanya Railway Station for your next leg of travel.
