Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Guiyang

    Your guide meets you at Guiyang Airport or the railway station to kick things off. From there, you'll head to Old Han Village where you can walk around and soak in the traditional Han culture. The highlight here is a private Ground Opera performance put on by local villagers wearing hand-made masks, which is a unique experience. After that, check into your hotel and you'll have the evening to yourself. Either rest up from traveling or wander through the city's night market if you're feeling up for it.

  2. Day 2

    Guiyang to Kaili

    After breakfast, you'll depart for Kaili with a lunch stop in Taijiang along the way. Once you're there, you'll hike through green paddy fields to reach Fangzhao village to check out traditional wooden houses and see how the local farming systems actually work. The drive continues to Kaili where you'll check in at your hotel. The evening is yours to explore the area at your own pace.

  3. Day 3

    Kaili to Guiyang

    You'll eat breakfast and then head out to visit FAST, which is the world's largest radio telescope at 500 meters. A guided tour takes about 2 hours and you'll learn about how they observe black holes using some pretty unique technology. Lunch happens at a local restaurant after that. Then you'll visit the Astronomical Experience Hall and the Astronomical Museum to dig deeper into the subject. The drive back to Guiyang takes you there by around 5pm.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with TUI China. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
