Please let us know if your clients are looking to travel earlier in the year as we do offer some really great itineraries for Alaska.

Accommodation will be on a twin share basis with the same gender. A single supplement is available if you'd prefer not to share a room on this trip for an additional $910. The single supplement applies to all nights on your trip and is subject to availability. Anchorage has a big store, Alaska Outdoor Gear Rental where you can buy parkas, snowpants/bibs, boots and gloves. They also rent baselayers, hats, wool socks, facemasks. Optional activities can be booked on ground, the tour leader will be able to assist you on this.

The best time to see the northern lights in Alaska is between August and April, when less daylight leads to darker night skies. Viewing the lights is always weather dependent but your leader will know the best opportunities for a chance to see the lights.

Alaska Winter Adventure is not available in August, the next departure is Sat 11 Nov 2023. The below tours have departures in August: Alaska Hike, Bike & Kayak, Hiking the Great Land of Alaska, Alaska Discovery, Hiking in Denali National Park, Hiking in Kenai Fjords National Park.

Asked on January 8th, 2023I am wondering why you require adults to be Covid vaccinated. The vaccine does nothing to prevent infection from or transmission of the virus, so what are you hoping to accomplish by requiring people to be vaccinated?

As of January 1st 2023, we at Intrepid dropped our vaccine requirement on our trips. Only a few sailing trips still require it.
