Itinerary
- Day 1
Paro to Thimphu
Your guide meets you at Paro airport and drives you to Thimphu for check-in. Once settled, you'll head out to see the Memorial Chorten, then make your way to Kuenschholing View Point where you can spot the largest sitting Buddha. The Mini Zoo comes next, where the Takin (Bhutan's national animal) roams around. By evening, you'll tour Tashichho Dzong, the fortress that holds government buildings and the throne room.

- Day 2
Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, you'll stop by the General Post Office to browse Bhutan through its stamps collection. From there, head to the Hand Made Paper Factory to see how traditional papermaking happens, a craft that goes back to the 8th century. Later you'll drive over the scenic Dochula Pass with Himalayan views stretching out around you, then roll into Punakha. The day wraps up with a guided walk through the impressive 14th-century Punakha Dzong.

- Day 3
Punakha to Paro
Starting after breakfast, you'll hike about 20 minutes to Rinchengang village to see traditional Bhutanese masonry work up close. From there, the hike continues to Punakha Nunnery sitting on a ridge with views over both Punakha and Wangduephodrang valleys. You'll then walk to the 15th-century Fertility Temple before heading by car to Paro. Once in Paro, check out the National Museum with its Bhutanese art and religious pieces, followed by a visit to Kichu Lhakhang, a 7th-century temple and one of Bhutan's most sacred sites.

Paro
After breakfast, you'll hike up to Tiger's Nest, Bhutan's iconic cultural site perched high on a cliff. Once you're back down, you'll try your hand at archery, Bhutan's national game. In the afternoon, stroll through Paro town to talk with locals and find souvenirs. The evening takes you to a traditional farm house where you can see how the valley's farmhouses blend into the landscape.

- Day 5
Paro to Haa Valley and Return to Paro
This morning you'll travel to Haa valley by way of Chelila Pass, one of the highest motorable roads at 3,988m elevation. At the pass, you'll stop at Kila Nunnery, then continue down to Haa Town to explore its monasteries. After your visits around the area, you'll drive back to Paro for the evening.
