- Day 1
Vientiane
You'll arrive in Vientiane where your guide meets you at the airport for the drive to your hotel. Once you've settled in, the afternoon takes you on a guided tour through the city hitting That Luang Stupa, Pratuxai, Ho Prakeo, and Wat Si Saket. It's a good way to get oriented and see some of the main religious and historical sites in one go.

Vientiane to Phonsavan
After breakfast you'll fly to Phonsavan and start exploring right away. The central market gives you a feel for local commerce and daily life, then the MAG exhibition provides context about mine clearing efforts in the region. The afternoon takes you to the Plain of Jars Sites 1, 2, and 3 where hundreds of large stone jars sit scattered across the plateau. You'll also stop at local villages to see how people live in this remote area.

Phonsavan
You'll travel to Muong Kham after breakfast to relax in natural hot springs and spend time at Thajok, a minority village where you can observe local customs and daily routines. The morning also includes a visit to Tham Piou Cave before you head back to Phonsavanh by afternoon.

Phonsavan to Luang Prabang
Start with the local market in Phonsavan in the morning, then the drive north to Luang Prabang takes you through countryside with stops to observe daily life and scenes along the route. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and once you arrive you'll check into your hotel. The evening includes a walk up Phousi Mountain and time at the busy night market.

- Day 5
Luang Prabang
You'll get up early to head to Morning Phousi Market and watch saffron-clad monks collecting alms, a daily Buddhist ritual that's still very much part of life here. From there a traditional boat ride on the Mekong River takes you to Pak Ou Caves where thousands of Buddha images fill the caverns. Later you'll visit Ban Xang Hai to try sticky rice wine, then check out Ban Phanom, Wat Visoun, and Wat Aham before returning.

Luang Prabang
After breakfast you'll visit the Royal Palace Museum to see rare furniture, traditional costumes, arts, jewelry, and historical working tools. The morning then takes you through Morning Phousi Market before heading to Kuang Si Falls where you can swim in turquoise pools or walk the forest trails. By late afternoon you'll visit Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Mai before heading back to settle in at your hotel.
